What a treat on "Fox & Friends" this morning: William Kristol hammered the pro-Democrat New York Times and pro-Democrat CBS for "colluding" and "conspiring" with Sen. John Kerry to topple President Bush.
Even Kerry's own handlers now admit they have no proof to back up the issue the Democrats concocted with their media allies.
Kristol notes in his new column for Weekly Standard: "Pressed on Tuesday afternoon about the accuracy of the allegations on Fox's Big Story with John Gibson, Richard Holbrooke, a senior adviser to the Kerry campaign, said: 'You don't know the truth and I don't know the truth.' He later underscored this point: 'I don't know the truth.'
"That minor issue hasn't kept the Kerry campaign from creating a television ad based on what may well be untruthful claims. ... Shouldn't he at least make sure that such a charge is true?"
But in the Democrat playbook there's no entry for truth. The party's longtime strategy is to repeat a lie until people believe it. Thanks to their media collaborators, and President Bush's wimpy refusal to denounce the Times and "60 Minutes" and Kerry and John Edwards, the stunt could succeed.
At least a few voices are speaking out. "Kerry gins up his attack machine based on a flawed New York Times story," the Republican National Committee noted Tuesday.
Richard Lessner, executive director of American Conservative Union, blasted the story "a cheap, baseless and partisan hit-job on President Bush" and pointed out that "neither the Times nor CBS has much interest in reporting the facts."
That would be tough to do unless they found a stockpile of WMDs. Those items may have been sent to Syria or dumped in the Desert. The information about WMD programs in Iraq is extensive, but to satisfy, only a stockpile would do.
The role of the U.N. in pushing this lie of a story to the New York Times is something I wish were getting more focus. The U.N. leadership, from Kofi Anon on down, desperately want this Oil-For-Food investigation to go away so that they're not shown for the vile, corrupt little men they are. They know Kerry will put a stop to it, so they will interfere in our national politics in whatever way possible to get rid of George Bush. Isn't this a violation of our sovereignty?
Itis OLD MEDIA.
But yet Kerry is insinuating these missing weapons constitutes a stockpile. Too many people are politically ignorant and don't know the MSM is biased. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I've had to tell people they have been listening to the media and that the media is feeding them hogwash. They just spew the same garbage they hear on TV. I tell them if they want the truth, listen to Rush Limbaugh or Shawn Hannity and they say oh that Limbaugh is a big blowhart. Then I ask them if they have ever listened to him and they say no. So there it is.
He should have added Tom Kean and the Gannett Press to the list. Check out the headlines in today's Daily Record Newspaper.
Cheney got it right this morning, publicly labeled John Kerry -- within the last two hours -- as a carping complainer who is trashing our troops.
Next, we'll up the rhetoric that Kerry's trashing of our troops represents a lifetime pattern of behavior.
Within 48 hours, the Kerry people will regret ever going down this pathway.
I called yesterday too Jim....someone on here posted the number.. my first time...
I asked that someone please come out and speak LIVE on TV about the Lies Kerry ,CBS and the NYTimes are spreading..I asked someone to please talk LIVE about Kerry NOT voting for the Kuwait invasion since it shows how he would do militarily AND asked for some help on this border mess since all of W's supporters get KILLED on this issue, trying to support him.....
Ive posted at every site I know where to post supporting Pres Bush and then calling Kerry and Company liars... I've written probably 300 emails since this broke to every news station I know too.....
Im worn out and overwhelmed.....the rest is up to our President and his folks....I surrender as I've said
I have a buddy that only has ABC via antenna, and he visited me yesterday. He knew the story was total BS, and he also knew that they were missing before the invasion. He is not political.

It must be one of those buy 1 credibility get 9 credibility for free. $1 Credibility general store.
The International Atomic Energy Agency instead ordered the explosives stored in sealed bunkers 30 miles south of the Iraqi capital. The last time the IAEA verified that the bunkers were still sealed was in March of last year, about a month before the first U.S. troops moved into the complex as they pushed toward Baghdad.
The last inspection was on March 8, 2003. The Blixie Boys reported that a large amount of this explosive had already been removed. Saddam's explanation was that it was being used for "quarrying and mining." No evidence was offered to demonstrate this assertion, in contravention of 1441.
The Bush campaign has been refuting it since Monday night.
Done! Thanks for the verse. It's perfect!!

Thanks, Louie. Printed it out and taped it to the computer monitor.
The "WH" has been responding. President Bush has not directly addressed it.
Excellent! Thanks for taking the time to let me know!

Fox just played part of President Bush LIVE in Pennsylvania. I missed the part that Bridget Quinn just recounted that he personally said to the crowd (I would love to hear it myself and/or see the transcript):
According to Fox, Bush said it appears the explosives were missing by the time our troops arrived and *anyone who jumps to conclusions and starts slamming the U.S. is not fit to be commander-in-chief*.
Well, I have to say, I am pleased. I wish I'd heard it myself, but by the time I walked in he was saying that bin Laden had been reported in several different locations and not just Tora Bora (addressing the Kerry accusation about that issue).
He's addressing it.
