Pew Research: ...And when voters are asked about the risk of making a change while the U.S. is "threatened by terrorism," slightly more voters (44%) say replacing Bush with Kerry represents a major risk... [ http://snipurl.com/a2wu ]
WPost: ...Yesterday, Cheney told supporters in Minnesota: "The biggest threat we'll face today is . . . a group of these terrorists in one of our cities with the kind of deadly capability we're talking about."
On campaign stops from Charleston to Johnstown over the past two weeks, Cheney has repeated his warnings about the "ultimate threat" and has stepped up the rhetoric further by assailing Kerry's fitness to lead in highly personal, often evocative terms.... [ http://snipurl.com/a2ws ]
NYTimes: ...When asked whom they would trust as commander in chief, people in the military and their families chose President Bush over Senator John Kerry, a decorated Vietnam veteran, by almost 3 to 1, according to a survey released on Friday.
Mr. Bush, who served in the Texas Air National Guard, was more trusted by 69 percent, while 24 percent said they trusted Kerry more, according to the National Annenberg Election Survey... [ http://snipurl.com/a2wr ]

Understand, I'm a Bush supporter. I don't think Senator Kerry has the strength and determination to win the Global War on Terror (GWoT). I look at Kerry's voting history, I listen to Kerry's words from day 1 when he announced his candidacy for presidency. As a matter of fact, I've been ignoring John Kerry of the last month or so. It's not the "real deal" John Kerry. Know this -- just a couple months ago -- Kerry's latest handlers were brought in from former President Clinton's world. Kerry's original handlers were unable to turn Kerry into something other than what he's been for 20some years.
That said, voters are left with a huge decision. With all the flaws in the present administration --whether you're a moderate or conservative-- is a vote for John Kerry worth the risk?
Above are three snippets from three seperate sources. The WPost, Pew and NYTimes. All three show a thread -- US military, who are in the thick of GWoT, trust Bush over Kerry; the VP, with decades of government experience, believes that Kerry isn't prepared for the GWoT; and voters don't trust Kerry enough to vote out Bush.
While it's un-PC to suggest that Kerry doesn't have the stomach, history or determination to keep terrorism at bay, far from US borders, the above 3 sourced pieces shows a public, a military and US leader(s) who strongly doubt Kerry. This is not spin -- it's survey results, it's quotes from experienced leaders and it's opinions from folks like you and me.
Citizens need to think about these issues before voting next week. The media may want to paint Cheney and Bush one way, and Kerry another, but it's clear who the media prefers: "Half of voters (50%) say most newspaper and TV reporters would prefer to see John Kerry win the election, compared with just 22% who think that most journalists are pulling for George Bush." [see http://snipurl.com/a26d ]
Granted, we all view the world depending on our individual interpretation and perceptions. But, consider how above threads together.
One thing is for sure: The world knows the terrorists know Bush's response to terrorism: Bush will order our best into action and destroy the terrorists. Unfortunately, the only thing they understand is strength -- weakness invites trouble. Kerry, on the other hand, has no credible experience fightening terrorism -- in fact, John Kerry's past words and actions fail to offer any comfort whatsoever. As a matter of fact, his 20-plus years in the Senate paint an entirely different picture -- and in today's GWoT, it's scary. And, the terrorists know exactly where Bush stands -- the same cannot be said of John Kerry.
I want the enemy to know where my leader stands. I want the enemy to know what will happen to them if they attack my family and fellow citizens.
In addition, all the talk about a president John Kerry bringing additional allies on board in the GWoT, is bunk. There's absolutely no evidence --especially from the allies themselves-- that a Kerry administration would help boost coalition strength in either OIF or OEF, or even the GWoT.
All this is worth considering, especially if it means a vote for the wrong candidate could quite possibly offer the terrorists an incentive, if not another chance, to attack.
Call me one-issue, but the economy, health care, taxes, and employment won't matter much if our national security collapses.

That's why they want FnKerry to win. President Bush keeps them on a leash. FnKerry will not.
Cheers,
Mike
speaking of terrorists, this is slightly off topic, but check out this ad;

OH, and meeting Osama bin Laden in person would make sKerry pee his pants.
Hell yess that's what my Anti-Kerry Movie is about
I think if Kerry wins the terrorists go after a big goal, which will be to take down the House of Saud. Picture the cascade effect that would have.
"Insurgent Abu Jalal: 'We've got to work to change the election, and we've done so. With our strikes, we've dragged Bush into the mud'..." reads the head on Drudge.
For months we've been told, by govt officials/observers, that the terrorist groups desperately desire a Bush loss. That would mean a Kerry win. We understand why the bad guys want Bush out (ie, he faced them down, has torn, and continues to, apart their structures, etc); question is, and every voter ought to ask herself: why do the baddies want Kerry?
From his last-minute hunting trip (though he didn't carry his kill, wonder why?) to the hanging-out-watching-the-game photo op, it's been a frantic rush to the finish line for Mr Kerry. He's so very much tried to fit in everything he probably should've been doing throughout the campaign.
A presidential campaign that lacks much in organization, one wonders what, if any, organization will carry a White House? It's frightening -- perfectly timed for Holloween.
