[...]The president was finishing his speech, and Sarah tells me, "I need some water. I'm blacking out." We had spent four hours standing in the sun, and despite her regularly drinking the water that was passed out throughout the event, the sun took its toll. Sarah was wedged into a narrow angle where two fences meet, and the place was packed. Now that the president was leaving the stage, the people handing out the water were gone. I felt kind of useless as a husband. There was no room to sit her down. There was no water. I was just hoping the president would get by, and crowd would begin to move, and I could do something.
The president came around shaking hands, moving toward our position. He shook my hand and those of people around, when I see his head suddenly turn in Sarah's direction. The President of the United States of America immediately recognized that Sarah was not well. He stopped all he was doing to focus his attention on her. He steadied her with both hands, and asked, "Are you OK?" At this point, she can't see. She can still hear, but thinks it's me talking to her. She said, "No." The President asked her, "Do you want me to get you some water?" She said, "Yes." Immediately the president spun around and yelled to his staff, "Get this lady some water now!"
In a few seconds, the secret service and his staff had several cups of water and an ice pack in our hands. Someone is on the radio calling for medical attention. In a few seconds, eight or nine Brevard County Fire and Rescue people come running around the front of the crowd.

Wow is all I can say as this is how I see this man, The President of the United States.
Can you imagine a story like this about JFnK?
How a person treats his employees speaks volumes. Kerry accused the secret service man for his ski fall "because he don't fall". Convenient to have a fall guy around to blame. Rumors were that Hillary was no gentlewoman either in the White House.
Nice story. The people who have encountered F'n usually seem to have had an opposite experience.
With all the amazing stories about Bush, it has made me both peaceful and angry. The man I am proud to call President is one of the most blessed human beings in America, yet the Angry Left continues to bash him like he's an evil monster.
"Sarah, I served in Vietnam so I know all about water. Now put your arm around me like this and pretend to faint while the nice man takes our picture so I can see myself on the news as a conquering hero."
Yes instead of, "Get this lady some water now!" it would have been, "Give me and this chick some privacy now!"
Nice story.
JFnK would walk by and, if thirsty, take the bottle of water away from the fainting woman.
Who would deserve a drink of water when it's hot more than His Dorkness?
Those weren't rumors, those were facts. The Xlintons treated the Secret Service like plantation help. Read "Unlimited Access" by Gary Aldrich.

would like some coffee, and none of the Lumbaquan
swill we had last time".
Mom, Tonk, Michael - I know you have big ping lists. This is a human interest story that encapsulates what a kind and caring man we have for a President. Please forward to your lists.
Summer, Jeb gets an honorable mention too.
I thought I saw some disturbance in the handshaking line. McMuffin, you were close ... can you amplify?
He's doing a nausea test.
