A quick look at the schedules indicate that Kerry is in trouble:
Kerry schedule (71% in Blue states):
Mon: PA Tues: WI, NM, NV Wed: 2 stops in IA, and MN Thur: OH
Bush schedule (78% in blue states):
Tues: Cuba City, WI, Onalaski, WI, and IA Wed: PA, OH, and MI Thur: MN, OH, & PA
Pity the red states Bush is having to nail bite over (other than NH which is apparently gone for Bush), are so large, i.e. Florida and Ohio. If he loses both, Bush is in the morgue, having previously assumed room temperature. If he loses Florida, he is in the intensive card ward. If he loses Ohio, he has a foot race with Kerry, with Bush having to wait one second after Kerry to start the race.
Well it isn't like NM, IA, Wisc, MN were blue states by huge margins and Kerry has blown it. Those states aren't really blue states...they are BATTLEGROUND states. If Kerry WASN'T there I'd think he was having serious problems. The fact that he is there means he realizes it was too close in 2000 and he's wanting to try to take them this time.
Now Michigan and Hawaii spells huge trouble for Kerry. If Kerry were to go to Michigan we'd know he was tanking big time. I still think he will tank but not because he's hitting states Gore won by a few dozen votes.
Are they doing exit polls for the early voting?
Exit polling: nosy reporters asking people who they voted for.

From the heart of enemy country in MA - just saw a very powerful ad for W. Showed him embracing the daughter of a victim of 9/11. What is interesting it was on UHF station, which means it may not have targeted southern NH, but actually aimed at MA.

I can tell you for a fact that Wisconsin is a battleground state--the margin for Gore in 2000 was under 6000 votes (around 5700, I do believe--with voter irregularities). The margin in NM was under 500 votes. All these states are tighter than a tick.
Depends on the source. Wash Post had a story the other day that Florida early voting (walking into polling places early) was running heavily democratic. Some countered that by saying that Republicans were more likely to vote absentee (via the mail) so they wouldn't been seen in as high a number at the polls.
Zogby announced in his daily poll the middle of last week that those that had already voted in the first few days of early voting was running 50-48 for Bush, but the sample size would necessarily be so small (400 national interviews per day...take a guess on how many had actually voted early...perhaps 5% or 10%???) that the data was suspect. I haven't heard anything yet from him or anyone else about early voting, but obviously these polsters will get increasing hits in their phone calls.
Kerry is making a visit to Warren, MI tonight to sure up his base. Not sure that Macomb County is going for Kerry.
He is going to a moderate sized auditorium at a local Jr College. Recent weekend polls here showed President Bush up 3.
President Bush is coming on Wednesday to the Silver Dome. I have tickets and it looks like it will be a good turnout.
With Kerry coming tonight and President Bush coming Wed I'd say neither has written off this state. Hope to have some pictures to share afterwards.
I'm worried about W being in CO recently. Is he in any real danger of losing there? I hope not.
Kerry pulled his adv. dollars out of CO. I seriously doubt Colorado is in danger for Bush.
Come on down. I live in Central Florida and have volunteered for the 72 hour GOTV. But I think FLorida is probably in the bag for Bush since Jeb has high approval ratings (60+) with the hurricanes and all...

Nope. Bush had a huge rally in Colorado. I'm not worried about him winning The Equality State next week.
I don't know how they can do it. If it were me, I'd have to be on something to keep up the pace.
As for Lurch...he's used to slacking. He never goes to work at the Senate...he plays playes plays on his own time.
I'm shocked he's been able to keep up his schedule as he seems to be a real slacker to me.
Maybe that is why he told Rolling Stone Magazine he was in awful shape..the worst shapes he's been in his life.??
