Posted on 10/25/2004 3:50:37 PM PDT by Greek

Kerry schedule (71% in Blue states):

Mon: PA Tues: WI, NM, NV Wed: 2 stops in IA, and MN Thur: OH

Bush schedule (78% in blue states):

Tues: Cuba City, WI, Onalaski, WI, and IA Wed: PA, OH, and MI Thur: MN, OH, & PA

Why is Kerry spending so much time defending Blue states? Pay little attention to the polls. If Bush was in trouble, the above schedules would be flipped.

You are exactly right! I appreiciate your post because this is one of the key indicators of the election. Bush is cornering Kerry just like he's whooping the terroist: He's on offense! Kerry's on defense.

Yep. Something tells me if Kerry were REALLY ahead, he'd be spending most of his time the last week of the campaign trying to go to as many Red States as possible. Instead, he's STILL playing defense. If he has to defend what he should have already locked down, bottom line - this is not a candidate who's set to win next week folks.

Especially if they have to yank Clinton out to campaign in Philly. Philly is pretty much like Bush campaigning in Houston so doenst make sense.

Gallop today shows Bush up by 5 and that's weekend polling. Also, just heard on the radio that Kerry's making an emergency visit tonight to Michigan. Sounds like desperation to me!

I pity both of these guys. They'll be so jet-lagged they won't know who they are or where they are by next week.

Let's add this up shall we?

MN=10
NM=5
NV=5
WI=10
IA=7

Total=37 electoral votes

Throw in Hawaii's 4 and that brings the total to 41

Nope. It doesn't make sense. If Kerry's already gotten PA sewn up, he wouldn't need Clinton there. The fact he does tends to lend credence to the notion that PA is anything but in Kerry's bag.

I agree, but I would really like to see Bush in Florida a few times. I don't want to go through more recounts. Since I live in a safe state, maybe I should head down there and suppress the black vote.

early voting, schmearly voting, it doesnt matter until all the votes are cast and counted.

It's just like Rush said. Kerry's campaigning in states that he should have a lock on. If I was advising the Bush campaign I'd schedule Bush for rallies deep in the heart of MA, NY, IL, and CA. It's time Bush bring down the gauntlet.

Did you hear that most all of the government offices were closed so the employees could attend the rally?!!! I thought this was against the law. Of course, that never stopped them before.
