Al Qa Qaa was also linked to Tuwaitha (they are next to each other) and nuclear capabilities (triggering mechs) and was one of the spots forewarned about inspectors coming back in 2002.
I wonder if it was one of the places Powell was showing when he did his UN Speech and was talking about them moving stuff before inspectors could get in?

Let's not forget that the UN was mad at the USA for shipping (nuclear) materials OUT of Iraq. The UN, Al-Tuwaitha, and Nukes. Does anyone really believe anything the UN says at this point? "You moved the (non-existent) weapons, how dare you!" "You didn't guard the explosives we abandoned before you ever invaded, how dare you!"
