The latest Zogby tracking poll out Sunday -- with just ten days until Election Day -- shows President Bush and Senator Kerry still locked in a two-point standoff -- 48% to 46%.
But Zogby notes the President has turned in a second day of strong polling.
Pollster John Zogby: "Another good single day of polling for President Bush.
In today's sample alone, he leads 50% to 43% - the first time we've seen either candidate hit 50%.
Each candidate continues to tighten his own constituency, and Undecided voters are now at only 4%."
The telephone poll of 1207 likely voters was conducted from Thursday through Saturday (October 21-23, 2004). The margin of error is +/- 2.9 percentage points.
We had a lovely article in our bias newspaper today, about why they don't post the Zogby polls. Then they proceeded to tell us why they are endorsing Kerry for President.
You know, if someone wanted to move to Nashville Tn and start up a newspaper, it would be a winner.
How will it be a good day for Dems?
As I recall, the Al Gore lost his home state in 2000 . .
#35 - 3.5 point lead for Bush. Right?
_______________
That was my question as well. How can a 7-point lead a week ahead of the election be good for the Dems?
But still a 2 pt lead.
Why isn't Gallup just as close? Also, Harris was right on I believe stating 46 to 46. Zogby was worst in 2002
Its unrealistic, but I'd love to see Kerry get Mondaled.
Good excuse for them to use drugs, liquor, suicide... cry in public and all that good stuff liberals love
Pollsters need to make money too :-)
Reporting a blowout would not lead to request for new Polls. Just look at the States that Bush leads by 10+ points, Like Texas. When has the last Poll been taken in TX or MA ?
The internals of these Polls tell the story. In every single Poll taken in the past 2 months all show Bush with a double digit lead on the question of "Who is best to lead in the "war on terror" as well as the question of "Who is the stronger leader" and the question "Who best to win the war in Iraq"
On election day the vast majority of Americans, who pay little or no attention to politics, will have a choice to make on who will lead this country for the next 4 years. By a margin of over 20 percentage points in most of the Polls President Bush is the stronger leader
It will another reason for the defeatist, pessamistic liberals to use drugs, get drunk, cry in public... call Kevorkian

A 'Mondaled Kerry' - quite a concept.
Sounds like another food product to me.

Isn't that standard Democratic behavior everyday anyway?

Your list is missing Harris who called it a 48/48 tie.
And the final results were polled when? Before or after
the DUI against Bush? Did any poll ask any one after friday?
E
I don't care if Beadlebaum wins this carnsarned thing, I just want it to be OVER!
In 9 polls, Bush takes 8.
This particular Zogby poll was harvested last Friday (22 October).
