NEW YORK -- Hip-hop mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs is following the lead of President Bush and Sen. John Kerry by taking his get-out-the-vote campaign to the swing states.
"If you are going to play the game, you need to play it all the way," Combs said in a telephone interview Saturday. "And if you talking about flexing your power, and you ain't flexing in the swing states, then you ain't flexing your power."
Combs' Citizen Change initiative will launch a three-day get-out-the-vote drive starting Tuesday in Milwaukee and Detroit, followed by rallies in Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Miami. Combs said he will be joined by other celebrities, including actor Leonardo DiCaprio and singer Mary J. Blige.
P. Diddy started his nonprofit, nonpartisan initiative earlier this year, saying he wanted to use unconventional means to register thousands of young, minority and urban voters he says are overlooked by politicians.

Guiness, and unfortunately I've just opened the first one. :-(
We live in a country when more people who vote that know nothing about the issues...the better the chance a guy like sKerry gets elected....what does that say?
Fight fo ya lives ya'll!
Didn't know that, thanks. Even 1/2 asleep I can tell a conservative :)
Guiness = Guinness; that's what I'm talking about. Can't type to save my life tonight.
My wife and I love South Park. We went to see Team America last weekend, and I wish there was some way I could clean up the final monologue and post it here, but the language is too hard. There's always a pretty good conservative message buried in South Park, but you have to look to find it. The libs see a lot of cussing and "pushing the envelope" so often they think it's a great liberal show, but that's just cause libs are stoopid.
Don't have cable, so I've never seen it. I may break a rule and go see this movie sans girlfriend.
As are all celebrities. What they have to say means nothing to me and I wish their political opinions would stop getting news coverage.
The movie is really funny. You don't have to be a SP fan to get the movie, but keep in mind during the puppet sex and vomit scene that their trademark is taking gags over the top.
The whole "register to vote" scam by all the "celebrities" is specious and phony. What it means is register if you hate Bush and will vote for Kerry. Wolves in sheeps clothing.
Shouldn't this be "Be ready to die if you vote for Kerry who is unable, undesireous and unwilling to defend American from Islamofascists nuclear weapons in NYC and Washington DC?"
Punk Diddy - "we gotta get Bush out of office" & "go out and vote for change" but Vote or Die is nonpartisan
In ancient Rome actors /entertainers were looked upon as being lower than whores. You do a great injustice to whores by your remarks.;o)
Pretty tough on yourself there SY
