My earliest post about the 9/11 terrorists being here learning to fly during Clinton's watch was the retort that I wanted to hear from Dornan and/or North tonight, but it didn't come. Then I heard O'Donnell make the same comment about Bush being "asleep" during the 9/11 attack, as if to say that "if only Bush were paying more attention then this wouldn't have happened."

The joke is, MSNBC identifies Lawrence O'Donnell as, get this, a "political analyst". As if viewers will think he's an honest broker of information.

Colson was on Nixon tapes talking to Nixon about having O'Neill counter John Kerry and the VVAW. Nixon broguht O'Neill into the White House, and that is also on Nixon tapes. Then O'Neill debated Kerry on the Dick Cavett show in 1971.

Thanks, I forgot that piece of history and that it was Colson who was involved.

Have you ever thought about how history seems to repeat itself, even down to the same people playing similar roles in different situations many years later? You see it happen in American history and politics, but it happens in the lives of ordinary people too.
