>>Do you know if that is the whole film or part? Thanks.<<
I just watched it. It's the whole film. And it's infuriating...the stress of watching it probably just shaved seven years off my life.

do you see anyplace on that website where that link to the film is? I don't see it, unless you have the complete URL, you can't get to it.

Clinton was impeached--just not removed from office.
BTW, the Sinclair documentary was terrible. I gave it ten minutes then changed the channel.

Well the broadcast has aired regardless.
Darn shame they didn't play the whole "Stolen Honor."

If I may continue ...
This was worthy of Karl Rove.
The initial announcement ... Sinclair is going to b'cast a "one-sided hit piece in Kerry". (But Sinclair NEVER says it will broadcast the entire film!)
DEMS show their immense respect for the 1st ammendment ("Sue to keep the bastards quiet!)
Sinclair "clarifies" it is a news program ... meanwhile, there has been publicity even on the MSM
Fox produces a "balanced" news program which hoists Kerry on his own petard, makes a fool of Rather and CBS, shows the most damning segments of the film (which the public hasn't seen), "balances" it with pro-Kerry footage (which induces yawns as more of the same).
I call that brilliant ...

Of course, you're right; the very mistakes I slam people about and I did it myself!
Thanks for the correction; don't want to look like a total fool.

Howlin you're right on this.....
it was an awful piece of crap....accusing Pres Bush of hiding records on his service, but NEVER even questioning any of Kerrys or why he doesnt sign the 180 .. the girl that did the piece on the Ads, showed ALL of them in the background and each time a Swift Boat ad came up it had a big red LIARS on them.. even letting KErry defend himself from them......except for 5 minutes of the POWS and we STILL had to suffer thru that dayum "rescue" by Kerry and all the "quiet nice music" playing in the background....it didnt do anything but glorify Kerry.....

By the way, I saw it for free on the internet, the movie is powerful, Kerry does Not look good in it.

I don't know if we are talking about the same things. I didn't watch the Sinclair version.
I watched the uncut version online.
If he is criticizing the uncut version, my insult stands. I thought it was forceful and made a strong point. Production qualities aside, the faces and the words of those Vets is all the film needs to get it's message across.
If you're talking about the Sinclair broadcast, I can't comment because it (thankfully as it appears) wasn't available in my area.
Before you go ripping the producers of this film, remember that they probably did it on a shoestring budget with a lot of volunteer hours from a lot of dedicated individuals that just want the truth out there.
I don't need to be bowled over, I just need to hear the truth, and I heard it tonight.

Well, then why do I sound like THEM? And why don't I have a RIGHT to see it? (I really wasn't in the mood to be insulted right now)

It is no longer the issue of "Stolen Honor," it is the issue of the freedom that was "stolen" from the American people tonight. I am sincerely and honestly frightened and every American should be as well. We have just experienced the same censorship that happens every day in Communist controlled countries. They receive the same watered down and sanitized crap that we saw tonight. Our troops are dying in Baghdad so that Iraqis can have the freedoms that we just lost with this debacle. What is it going to take for us Great Americans to realize we are no longer free?

You can see my join date too, but I have faithfully read FR since 1999...just not bold enough or angry enough to post. Not everyone new to posting is really a Newbie. And Sinclair did a bait and switch!

Okay, so maybe it was incredible reverse psychology plan. That's it! Tell people you're going to tell them the truth, or at least open it up for discussion, then make a big deal about getting threats from the Dems, then make a really awful infomercial-type show that normally gets aired at 3:00 AM. Result? Everyone is horrified and sees how destructive the Dem machine can be to free speech (which I firmly believe it is).
Brilliant! Or at least, I hope that's the case.

Hello,
Immediately after the program aired here in St. Louis, my brother called me with the same complaints that are flying here tonight. I said:
1) Sinclair said from the beginning that they would air only parts of the anti-Kerry movie.
2) The overwhelming impression I was left with is that the Left does not believe in the 1st Amendment, our free Speech, unless it is speech that they agree with.
3) Kerry is left being accused of extending the War and contributing to the torture of our brave servicemen, Bush is accused of (maybe) being absent for a few months.
4) If this had been obviously slanted to either side, it would have been a total disaster. This (IMHO) was a more fair and balanced piece than I have seen on Fox in recent memory.
#2 is the most important, any fair undecided voter out there must have picked up on the steady stream of this point. If they didn't, they were already in one camp or the other.
Glad to be here, MOgirl
