I must agree with your objective review. I found the video to be very balanced and thought-provoking - while still putting the blame for atrocities against POWs at Kerry's feet where it belongs. For the life of me, I can't imagine why Sinclair caved.

I watched the show hoping for some new perspective. I feel like it was bait and switch, complete with "Rock the Vote" ads (at least on our WB affiliate). It had the look and feel of an infomercial, rather than a news program, and I have some serious questions about the intent behind it, as well as the publicity that was generated over it. I switched away, but kept coming back hoping for some meat. It wasn't even a good discussion on the media.

Now I'm just annoyed.

With this apparent botch-job resulting from THREATS from Kerry operatives...
the talk-radio/internet media will catch flame.
I know it's hoping for too much...but it might motivate more folks to
really push DVDs onto undecideds, so much so that the word on Komrad Kerry
still gets spread.

You just want to believe that what is happening is a dream and it isn't. You see these people suppressing the truth.. forcing folks who say they have courage to bow down.. and you worry for your own safety.

We see predictions of massive voter fraud. And we see Federal Judges seemingly creating the very most favorable conditions for this to occur.

The republican party offices are being smashed and burnt and we do nothing. We believe in the police and god and justice..

We are caught flat footed watching outrage after outrage.. and we see, from those heady days that it seemed like we have some real power.. that the Billionaires still have power.. and its funny as heck to think that they are Democrats.. even while the Reps are being blamed as the party of the rich and powerful.

Personally, I have been fighting this battle one friend at a time.. I pray I can make a difference.

Like I said. I reallly didn't expect Sinclair to nail Kerry to the wall(although I would have liked that), I was just hoping for more than what I got.

I guess it could have been worse. It could have been a 60 minute campaign commercial.

I gather Sinclair did not air the entirety of the linked program?

Sounds like a real "hatchet job", e.g., very little seeing airtime and
then diluted by other B.S. meant to immunize Sinclair Broadcasting from
the threatened love-taps of a Kerry Administration.

I'm just thankful that I'm NOT in a Sinclair-station area so I didn't have to see it.

kaferhaus, Ive posted a dozen times to this post and the other one on this show tonight...I should have turned it off when I first saw your post....it was AWFUL, it showed kerry in a good light and basically told us, we needed to move on from this stuff EXCEPT the fact that "We'll never know the truth about PRes BUsh' TANG service"..HEY SINCLAIR thanks for that.....NOT....it was the WORST...
