Add a DANGER: HIGH VOLTAGE sign and you're good to go. :)
I think a video camera and a penchant for litigation might work wonders.
What is missing is a sensor to turn on a high volage power line to the fence once inside. You know a few jerks are going to have to prove they are smarter than the man who put up the fence. Can't you just image 2 punks caught inside the high voltage fence with the sign lying on the ground.
unless you own a fence company, concertina (razor wire)
is far cheaper but may be against code.
Yikes! You'd unleash the dreaded photobucket on a sign thief? That's lawsuit fodder, fella! hee (I prefer picturetrail, myself)
Nice.
I had two Bush/Cheney signs stolen from my yard, and posted a thread about it. I received many good suggestions on how to deal with this issue.
Living in a very small rural community, I went to the local corner grocery store, and made some "off the cuff" comments about my situation, and how I planned to deal with it. Anyone who lives in a smalltown knows how word speads.
My replaced Bush/Cheney signs have been untouched since....:)
Master Breytek thinks triple strand razor wire would be a nice touch atop the fence.
Small towns are great aren't they.
I left my fishing rod leaned up against a tree by the lake and it disappeared one night. I mentioned it at the post office and a few days later it reappeared on the hood of my truck a few days later.
not good enough... no barbed wire!
A couple of Dobermans or German Shepherds inside that fence wouldn't hurt either.
My husband and I grew up in small towns and he tells the story of the local gas station that during the daytime, had an aquarium in the window with 2 rattle snakes in it.
At closing time the aquarium was removed from the window and a sign was put up that said "They're out at night."
The gas station never had one incidence of theft or vandalism.

You could add a sensor triggered sprayer loaded with Skunk-Shot.
"Add a DANGER: HIGH VOLTAGE sign and you're good to go. :)"
or, without threatening physical injury, but still scaring them good:
"CAUTION - HIGH RESISTANCE - OVER 1 MILLION OHMS"
You got that right. Brings to mind a "summer job" of mine a thousand years ago - driving a clapped out Jack & Jill ice cream truck on a route down in Hybla Valley - just south of Alexandria VA. The pay was bad but I was only 16 and some of the perks weren't bad. Anyhow, the truck yard was over in SE DC, all fenced in with chain link and lights, and a night watchman, etc. They also had two huge Dobies who were turned loose after the gate was locked at night. So, if you came back late, the watchman would let you in and then lock the gate behind you. You would find a parking slot with these humungous Dobies walking along side. Mind you, these trucks had doors but no roofs, just canvas which was gone. Which was fortunate because after I found a parking slot, these Dobies would be standing five feet away, waiting for me to open the door and walk back to the gate, 150 feet away. Not I. So, I would climb up on the top of the box and walk along to tops of the trucks until I got to the fence, [no razor wire] toss my canvas change belt over the fence and swing down on the outside. By this time the watchman would be in hysterics. The part I remember most vividly is those two big Dobies walking along shoulder to shoulder, dress right dress, eyes padlocked on me while I was jumping from truck to truck. They never took their eyes off me and they never made a sound.

Way off topic, but at our last house, we regularly got our mailbox smashed (teens doing a drive by with a baseball bat...would go down the road and hit everyone). An older neighbor suggest putting bricks in the new, replacemnt mail boxes(at night). Several of us did...and found out days later that one of the perps got a busted collar bone (leaning out a carwindow, swinging the bat...and recoil time!!!) Just a hint for discussion purposes...
