Israel raid 'kills Hamas chief'
A senior Hamas figure was among two militants killed in an Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials say. Medics say one of the men killed may have been Adnan al-Ghoul, a senior figure in militant group Hamas.
Adnan al-Ghoul had been on Israel's wanted list for over 15 years, news agencies reports.
There was no immediate word from the Israeli army, which has often targeted militants in missile strikes in Gaza.
But Reuters quoted Israeli security officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, as saying the air strike may have targeted Mr Ghoul.
An Israeli aircraft fired the missile at the vehicle north of Gaza City as dozens of people left a nearby mosque after evening prayers.
Two other people were reported to have been injured, one of them seriously.
Earlier in the day, two Palestinian militants were shot dead by Israeli troops in Gaza while an Israeli soldier was killed in a blast near the border with Egypt.
Mark another Islamist terrorist dead.
So many chiefs, so few Indians.
Looks like they better get another new chief.
The ever-respectful Beeb.
Nice shooting, IDF.
Gotta love those Israel response teams!
If the MSM knew how many of us receive this as GOOD news, they'd quit reporting it.
Good. I hope they get more of them soon.
happy halloween
Hamas Commander Eliminated in Targeted Surgical Strike
22:11 Oct 21, '04 / 6 Cheshvan 5765
(IsraelNN.com) Reports from the Jabalya area of Gaza indicate senior Hamas commander Adnal al-Ghoul and his deputy were eliminated in the IDF targeted surgical strike.
How would you like to be the underwriter on the "Hamas chief" life insurance policy?
This post has a life expectancy measured in weeks.
Only one minor correction, . . .
That would be the late Mr Ghoul.
It seems like this story has been posted already, lots of times.
And another different Hamas leader.
And another different Hamas leader.
And another different Hamas leader.
And another different Hamas leader.
And another different Hamas leader.
Sounds like something from the Screwtape Letters.
"another one bites the dust... hah."
