AP/IPSOS apparently makes no attempt to adjust polls for party affiliation,

Interesting.

Good point. That observation about the AP author is all I needed to hear. Let's move on, next poll.

What ridiculous claptrap! There is nothing Bush has done that Reagan wouldn't have done (except maybe sign the CFR bill). Reagan allowed the budget deficit and domestic spending to baloon out of control as has Bush. Reagan offered amnesty to illegals (beyond even what Bush has done). The only differences were these:

1) Reagan was a slicker package and a bunch of Americans voted for him on the basis of that alone.

2) Since Reagan last ran for President, we have seen one or two generations grow up into voting age through the idiocy of the public school system.

That's it. Other than that, little seperates the two men. Policy wise, it would be hard to find someone more like Reagan than Bush.

"Paris, October 2004. The latest issue of Ipsos Ideas, our magazine for clients and partners around the world, is entitled “The Faces of Political Seduction.” Prepared by Ipsos Public Affairs experts, the issue tackles major and emerging tends in political communication, with a special focus on the US Presidential campaign."

"The Ipsos Group is a leading global provider of survey-based advertising research, marketing research, public opinion research, media research, and customer satisfaction research. Paris-based Ipsos Group SA had worldwide revenues of $644.2 million in 2003, of which $237.5 million came from its North American operations, making it America's fastest growing market research company."

"The company is also among the most trusted research brands: Ipsos partners with The Associated Press, the world's oldest and largest news organization, on national and international public opinion polling."

IPSOS is a French Firm which bought the total control of the AP Polling division. They have no track record so there is no way to tell their accuracy. This poll is designed to influence American Votes.

49 + 46 = 95. I thought that +/- 10% were undecided and +/- 3% were Nadar. 95 + 13 = 108%. Sounds like a democratic district.

Yeah polls have always been a little skewed one way or the other but you could look over a few and kinda get an idea of the true trend but those days are long gone I am afraid

Do these guys think we believe their polls? Just a little different than the average wouldn't you say. I don't listen to any of the polls, most of them are lefties and they are biased as hell. Bush will win big. I think he will get about 400 EV. Hang in there and don't let them fool you.
