Clinton Appointee Judge Rules that PA does not have to send correct absentee ballots to military.
The Philidelphia Inquirer ^

Some of those overseas voters, including soldiers serving in Iraq, are now being asked to pick from an incorrect slate of presidential candidates. And, as a result, they are being deprived of the same options given to voters at home, Justice Department lawyer Amy Zubrensky argued.

They "have the right to correct ballots," she said.

Philadelphia lawyer Mark Aronchick, a special election-law expert hired by the Rendell administration, called the number (of military voters) "a theoretically tiny universe of people."

To all concerned, Senator Santorum was on WPHT1210 last night discussing this very issue. Gov. Rendell had no problem extending the deadline during the Democratic primary in April, but now seems to think that extending the dealine for late absentee ballots would be "unfair". It seems that Mr Aronchick is more than just "a special election-law expert hired by the Rendell administration." He is in fact a lawyer who until two weeks ago worked for the Kerry campaign. Gov. Rendell has also decided to place Mr. Aronchick in charge of a group of "observers" to be sent (without authority of the Pennsylvania" to all county polling places to oversee the vote counting, presumably to make sure that they get counted "right"!

Do we know for a fact that GWB has not done a thing about the military vote?
I do see looming legal protests in that the ballots are not all "equal" (content for starters) which seems to be the coming hue and cry for the assembled hordes of DNC shysters.

No.

Bill and Hillary Clinton, using Janet Reno, fired ALL of the current the Federal prosecutors when they gained power.

They didn't fire all Federal judges.

Best assumption for firing the fed prosecutors was to cover up two or three bribery/foreign pay scandals to democrats that were underway at the time.

Federal Judges are in for life unless they are impeached. Clinton fired all the US Attorneys (unprecedented in American History).

Can an individual member (low ranking) file a lawsuit in this matter while still an active member of the Armed Forces?

You do not lose your rights as an American when you are in the military, but some things like filing suit against the Gubermint might be viewed as a career breaker.

It is not a problem if you had someone file on your behalf however. The military just want your undivided attention and availability 24/7. That is the price you pay and it is reasonable IMO.

So much for "count every vote" (as if I ever believed that crock).

Aronchick is a Former Kerry Adviser who just resigned from the campaign a couple weeks ago

The nationwide riots ended within DAYS after the national guard killed some rioters (supposedly innocent bystanders)at Kent State University in Ohio.

the lefties were so upset, Neil Young wrote a protest song about it... but the rioting and burning of campuses and inner cities stopped in less than a week AFTER there was a DEADLY show of force. NIXON was the man. James Rhodes was the Governor. History is repetitive.

If this kind of crap continues AFTER the election, similar 'strong arm' tactics will be needed to restore the peace and DRIVE the anti american, and violent haters BACK into the closet. Bush will have to call out national guard to restore order... and the lefties, now openly associating with terrorist groups... may need to be mowed down to reinstate our constitutional republic... to end random disorder and threats of violence by the enemies of the state.

Thanks for the ping .. I am so tick about this

Rendell bends over backwards to make sure the prisoners can vote ... but he screws over the Military

Rendell was a POS when he was Mayor of Philly and now as Gov he's even worse

It's reasonable, I agree. I was curious though about the legal recourse of an individual service man or woman when such an obvious attempt at disenfranchisement is taking place.

Thanks for your answer.

or would a ballot submitted with a choice for Nader disqualify the entire ballot because it was incorrect?

The Dems will argue that's it an invalid ballot because Nader name is on and the voter could have voted for Kerry if they had known Nader was off the Ticket

Anyone remember that meeting Nader had with Kerry several months back??

You forgot the part about the observers being Rendell's people

I believe there are directives and such that give the president authority in just that sort of situation. I saw some of them posted some time back.

This sort of stuff drives the tinfoilers nuts, but it is necessary to protect the country from this kind of insurrection by a minority seeking chaos and anarchism.

Should a majority do something like this, it would be a moot point however.

Government does not have a monopoly on power under our Constitution and that is as it should be.

Wow, what happened to "count every vote"? I suspect the RATs mean count only THEIR vote. But, the statement that the predominately military absentee vote is "a theoretically tiny universe of people" flies in the face of the whole Florida voter issue. The RATS achieve new lows by the hour.

Yes.
The ballots have to be in-hand October 29 in order to count.
This is BS.

I know we must excerpt this, but you excerpted out a critical bit:
Justice Department lawyers had asked U.S. District Judge Yvette Kane to impose such fixes to the unusual ballot dilemma caused by independent candidate Ralph Nader's on-again, off-again status as a presidential candidate in Pennsylvania.

this is what was commonly known as a "red herring" years ago
..any excuse for any argument AFTER Bush wins in Nov. This type of dummy insurance for fodder...it really don't matter to the far left liberals WHEN OR WHERE to stir trouble confusion and kaos....they know their in trouble and their way of thinking is ..lets make this election worst than florida's chad episode...this is going to get very very ugly

It shouldn't matter. Anybody could write in "Ralph Nader" if he isn't on the ballot. Few people do and it is a proposition rife with potential for error, but it is possible and quite likely.
