I am glad to hear the problem is being taken care of. However, along the lines ZIP suggested, a plane dispatched with great fanfare and media coverage to ferry the ballots back and forth would have been great for Pres Bush's campaign. Think of the commercial of Bush sending the aircraft off with the message about every military person being afforded the opportunity to vote for their choice of commander in chief.

That's nuts. After a liberal judge violates our soldiers right to vote, Democrats will explain that this is just another reason the U.N. should manage our elections.

Mark A. Aronchick

In the Inquirer in February, Aronchick discussed what he described as the prevailing disdain for a president who was "playing to base fears."

"Our anger is that fundamental. It is primal. These are evil forces we are up against," Aronchick said.

"Fundamental" and "primal" enough to debase our voting process...?

"Philadelphia lawyer Mark Aronchick... called the number (of military voters) "a theoretically tiny universe of people."

I wonder if this scumbag liberal degenerate's head inhabits a rather "tiny universe."

"The military is being sent newer voter ballots, and they are even being given the opportunity to get them online. Never fear, our boys will be voting and I'm sure in record numbers!"

Yes but they MUST BE MAILED and RECEIVED in the counties board of election by the 29th. Don't you think this is pushing it? Do you think that the HEAVILY DEM postal workers union will might just lose some ballots?

Remember, military votes more traditionally Republican. Losing 5000 ballots would probably mean 500 - 1000 Dem votes. I bet they see that as an acceptable loss.

I really like your idea. It would be a win/win situation. First, the military voters win and secondly, the President wins. (almost like the Berlin airlift)

The military ballots are being done via the Internet or the military will shop them over in special planes. One way or another, they will get there and back. I've already heard where special care is being taken to get them back here on time.

Yes there is a write in option for Nader, but in PA you have to list all 12 electors by name to write him in or it doesn't count.

Only a few counties have mailed out ballots, suprise Philly is one. Most are waiting until the dust settles. Bush worries that ballots with final Nader issue wrong may be counted "invalid". Nader appealed to US Supreme today. Most counties are waiting until issue is final before mailing.

To write in Ralph Nader in PA, you have to write in all of his electors by name.

Well, Nader appealed to the US Supreme, but I really don't think that helps this dilemma.

1. I knew Nader would appeal to US Supreme, (he did today)
2. Some ballots will have gone out with Nader on, some with Nader off. Dems army of 10000 lawyers will almost certainly try to get the 'incorrect' ballots disqualified.

Of course you know he was appointed by Rendell to monitor the voting here in PA. Is he partisan, ya think?

How do you stop the judge??

I can think of several ways criminal judges had to be stopped in the past - when people had the courage and conviction of RIGHT and WRONG!
