PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Teresa Heinz Kerry released the following statement today:
"I had forgotten that Mrs. Bush had worked as a school teacher and librarian, and there couldn't be a more important job than teaching our children. As someone who has been both a full time mom and full time in workforce, I know we all have valuable experiences that shape who we are. I appreciate and honor Mrs. Bush's service to the country as First Lady, and am sincerely sorry I had not remembered her important work in the past."

Pills and hooch will do that, TeRAYzah.
You may now open your mouth and change feet. Oops, what am I saying? Your mouth is always open.
Actually, I think that she is doing a fine job in helping her current husband. Keep digging Tressy baby, keep digging.....
This statement just gives her gaffe more attention! Perfect!
"You know how I just said that teachers and stay-at-home moms suck? Well, I didn't mean it, they're great."
Yeah, that works!
Just keeps getting better every day for Bush.
Somehow, I find Ketchup Girl's face on the Scarecrow appropriate. I wonder how she would react if someone said "Torch" to her.
It's ok, they're going to lease the Palace of Versailles as their "Eastern White House."
Heinz Kerry said she sees her age as a benefit she is 66 and Bush 57. "I'm older, and my validation of what I do is a little bit bigger because I'm older, and I've had different experiences. And it's not a criticism of her. It's just, you know, what life is about," she said.
I guess we should accept Teresa's apology and forgive her. She was probably tasting too many of the raisins she was soaking in booze last week. This woman is a useless human being. Believe me, just as Bill Clinton got his just due from the Lord with his four artery by-pass, this witch will get hers too! I could really hate this low life vermin of humanity, but I promised the Lord I would not take vengence on another person, no matter how much I disagreed with them. I have every confidence the Lord will bring thes miserable people down in his own way! They are both vermin and traitors IMHO!!!
What do you call Teresa in the "buff"?
An Everlasting Nightmare!
She was a translator at the UN when she met John Heinz.
No doubt if anyone in the Bush family has anything to say about it, it will be because they're secretly ashamed of Laura's employment orientation.
Tezzie better hope Barbara Bush I doesn't go after her.
Very well stated. I think that explains why many "elites" didn't get Ronald Reagan, don't get Capitalism, don't get America, and are attracted to Marxism. They can't imagine that those who were deprived of an Ivy/Oxbridge education could collectively govern better than they could.
teresa, "I had forgotten that Mrs. Bush had worked as a school teacher and librarian,"
rolls eyes...Heinz's selective memory like selective hearing is so convenient isn't it.
You make a good point. She actually said some kind things about Laura too. And I will take her at her word that she did indeed forget. She rarely apologizes and she honestly does seem to care about women, so yes, I think you're right. But given that she did forget, don't you think that someone in a race like this would remember something like that? I find her forgetting it more astounding than her saying something deliberately nasty. And yes, Laura will be gracious enough to accept it and let it drop. It's the kind of woman she is and it's why we want her for four more years.
"It seems that only work outside the home is valuable and important.
I'll have to ask my homeschooling, stay-at-home-mom wife about that."
Don't you know we just let our kids play computer games while we sit in front of the tv eating bon bons? {sarcasm}
I agree entirely!
Dear imskylark,
No, I didn't. I guess I'm out of the loop. ;-)

That's an alright apology by Teresa. It's a model so many libs should follow. Let's try it:
John Kerry: "I had forgotten that President Bush had worked so hard to defend and protect our country after 9/11, and there couldn't be a more important job than commander and chief. As someone who is both a Senator and a citizen, I know that 9/11 has shaped the President. I appreciate and honor President Bush's service to the country, and am sincerely sorry I had not remembered his important work in these last few weeks."
Yeah, works for me.
So, because she was a teacher all is forgiven? T. slammed women that stay at home to raise their children. I see no acknowledgment of that initial disrespect. If she hadn't been a teacher would the remark have been withdrawn? No.
Translation: "Sorry. I thought she'd just wasted her life raising her children and taking care of her husband."
