Jimmuh Carter proves once again why he's an idiot.
Carter has no sense of history and human nature, nor does he understand the first thing about politics. Nuff said.

Well, one parallel is that the Revolutionary War, more than any other war up until recently, has been the most bloody war we've fought. I think another parallel is that in some ways the Revolutionary War could have been avoided. It was an unnecessary war.
It wasn't even the bloodiest war of the US's first 100 years. That was the Civil War.

"Had the British Parliament been a little more sensitive to the colonials' really legitimate complaints and requests the war could have been avoided"
My nomination for moron of the millenium is Jimmy Carter. I want him to rewrite the history of the world, with a 'more sensitive' Attila, Hitler, etc., and let's throw in DeSade and Dracula while we're at it. Can any grown man, especially an Annapolis graduate, really spew this garbage with a straight face? Maybe this is Carter's idea of humor???

John Kerry and Carter share the pacifist view that war is never necessary. That's why we had American hostages held in Iran for 444 days during Carter's presidency. Elect a weak-on-defense candidate like Kerry and he'll be taken as seriously by the terrorists as Carter was by the Iranians. I'm surprised that the Bush campaign hasn't compared Kerry to Carter. I think it would be very effective.

Jimmy Carter hates America so much.
He was the most dangerous president of the last century and still a very dangerous former president.
One can only hope that God soon decides it is past time for Jimmy to fertilize the peanut crops in Georgia.

OMG, I am so ashamed.
I actually voted for this man in '76. I was young and stupid (I had JUST reached voting age, first election I ever voted in), I was away at college so I was out of touch, and he was going to carry Georgia regardless of whether I voted for him or not (by over 500,000 votes), but the mere thought of my idiocy makes me turn hot and cold all over and swear under my breath.
Mea maxima culpa, y'all. I had no idea what I was doing.

I would say this is unbelievable. But then, we're talking about Carter here. Still, this is stunning.

A couple weeks ago, I saw the book "The Real Jimmy Carter" at Amazon.com in the used book section for only $2.79. So, I figured, being that cheap, I might as well buy it. With all the attention to the important Presidential election going on, I set the book aside to read later.
After hearing his asinine comments to Chirssie, I have to read it NOW.
This man hates the United States.
