didn't he get a nobel prize for giving away our canal? so much for national security, who runs both ends of the canal? Chicoms anyone?

I remember turning on the radio a few years ago and work and they were interviewing him. I did not know it was him at first, as it honestly sounded like someone who was a recovering alcoholic (dealt with a few), really mumbling and disconcerted. Then they said it was Carter and I thought he was on his death bed or something.
