A device that shuts off any television set?
Didn't Elvis Presley have one of these?
Oooooh; now if only they had one for cellphones!
Dang - I want one!
I need to get one of these to shut off that darn CNN Airport News.
Great, a low tech ECM device for terrorists.
A friend of mine got a new watch that could be programmed to serve as a remote control. So we went to a bar one night and he programmed it to take over the TVs above the bar. Around closing time one of the bouncers was directed to turn off the TVs. So he did so, then my friend, with a couple subtle presses of a button on his watch, turned them all back on.
The manager yells at the bouncer, telling him to turn off the TVs. The bouncer does so again, my friend turns them back on. Eventually the bouncer was frustrated, but still clueless, so he unplugged the TVs.
You are right about that. On a recent trip at an airport, I thought I was in "Brave New World" while standing in line being bombarded with TV propoganda I did not want to experience.
Can that thing be refined to work on Liberals?
I thought that was called a thong.

You can get a cell phone blocker from an Israeli electronics company. There are churches using them now . . . search FR for an article on this within the last three days. :-)
We live in an apt and our obnoxious next door neighbor watches stuff like Apocaplypse Now or something similar, at too high a volume. I wonder if I could turn off his t.v.
He he he he he
Now that is funny as.....
I will certainly have a use for it.
Every set in every waiting room seems to be tuned to CNN.

My wrist watch is a universal remote. Controls TV and VCR. It's great when you are at a doctors office and don't want to listen to soaps and risk your life manually changing the channels.
He was told to NEVER TO USE HIS FLAT SCREEN TV AGAIN UNDER THREAT OF BEING JAILED.
