ORLANDO, Fla. -- Last summer, John F. Kerry refused to cross a police picket line and address the US Conference of Mayors meeting in Boston. Last night he rode in a motorcade that crossed two Florida police picket lines en route to a get-out-the-vote rally in vote-rich Orlando.

Refresh my memory here: didn't Kerry pontificate for the reporters in Boston that he would never cross a picket line?

So what happened in FL? No visible press?

Kerry has no respect for the Orlando police.

What happened? Well, it was politically expedient not to cross the picket line in Boston. And it was politically expedient to cross the picket line in Florida.

You didn't think Principle entered into the decision-making, did you?

Kerry is quite annoyed with the police officers endorsement of Bush. So he put himself in their faces. Just another misstep in the ABB candidate's campaign.

Aides said the demonstration, staged by members of the Orlando Police Department represented by Fraternal Order of Police Local 25, was sprung on the campaign without prior notice in an effort to embarrass the city's Democratic mayor, Buddy Dyer.

So, now we're supposed to schedule our protests with Kerry's campaign? What a bunch of whiners!

He was informed a couple of times. Once a few weeks ago and that day. The news has proof that he was told, so he lied. He also smiled and gave a thumbs up at them as he past. The news has that caught on tape. That was the fourth picket not the first, he knew. As you are saying, it doesn't matter, they are looking for a way out of this, and there isn't one.
