Clinton covered up Olympic bombings: Jack Cashill shows Atlanta attack never disclosed by DOJ
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | Tuesday, October 19, 2004 | Jack Cashill

The very same day that the Clintons go to Long Island to meet with the TWA Flight 800 families, security guard Richard Jewell is patrolling the grounds of Centennial Park in Atlanta. He's a little Barney Fife-ish, but a good guy and very observant.

Right around midnight, Jewell spots a large, olive-green, military-style backpack, known as an Alice pack, under a bench. He immediately shares this information with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. When the GBI cannot find the pack's owner, the GBI officer and Jewell begin to clear an area around the pack. Soon afterward, the pack explodes. Two people die and more than a hundred are injured. If this sophisticated 40-pound bomb had not been jostled, and had Jewell not seen it, the bomb might have killed hundreds.

Richard Clarke and the Clinton administration were understandably worried about terrorism. At one high-level planning meeting before the Olympics, Clarke has even theorized that terrorists might hijack a 747 and crash it into Olympic stadium. Remember the Bojinka-related "planes as bombs" plot. But in the "feel good" Olympic games of 1996, in the lead up to the Clinton re-nomination, when "everything is wonderful," no official even speculates as to whether Islamic terrorists might be behind the Olympic bombing.

Nor do contemporary media reports address the fact that the Centennial Park bomb was one out of many. A highly reliable Atlanta-area police officer who was working the Olympics has shared some new information with me. As he relates, the night after the Centennial Park blast, a bomb is found in the trunk of a car parked on the road between Olympic City and Centennial Park. The bomb squad defuses it with a 12-gauge slug from a distance after two hours of trying. Over the course of the next week or two, he and his fellow officers will get reports that different devices have also been found, including one on a MARTA train.

"The information wasn't really rumor," writes the officer, "because we were listening to it real-time on the radios – I wanted to make that clear."

Rather than alarm the Olympic-goers and the nation with the possibility of a widespread terror plot, the Clinton Justice Department suppresses information about the subsequent bombs and blames the one lethal blast on the transparently innocent Jewell. Its agents then hound Jewell all the way through the end of October.

Whose idea this was is not clear. Clarke blames Louis Freeh and the FBI. But the Clintons and their operatives were always quick to blame the FBI, and the media were equally quick to pile on. The media shed no light. The reporting on this incident is insufficient and inept. The best account, an 18,000-word piece in Vanity Fair, does not even mention the words Islam or Islamic even to dismiss them. Only Dick Morris has gone on record to call this a terrorist "attack."

Six months after the Centennial Park attack, a bomb goes off outside an Atlanta abortion clinic, and a month after that one explodes at the Otherside lounge, an Atlanta "gay" bar. This, of course, leads Clinton's Department Of Justice to pin it all, including the Olympics – a rather novel target for anti-abortion activists – on the mystical right-winger, Eric Rudolph.

But there is something to consider here. The first killing in the American jihad took place in November 1990 when an Eyptian by the name of El-Sayyid Nosair shot Jewish activist Meir Kahane at a New York Hotel. The first terrorist act in the American jihad had taken place in April of that year when the same the same Mr. Nosair blew up a "gay" bar in Greenwich Village.

And that brings us to great irony of the jihad. The America that the terrorists hate is progressive America: homosexual rights, abortion, radical feminism, pornography, MTV ... you name it. And yet, our progressive friends are almost pathetically eager to embrace radical Islam. Why? There's one thing they have in common: their shared distaste for America.

One final irony. Toward the end of the 1996 campaign, the media start challenging Clinton about the illegal Asian money he has been using to fund his campaign. To suggest his own innocence, and the media's recklessness in accusing him, Clinton compares himself to, yes, Richard Jewell.

And he gets away with it.

And Bush is the one they accuse of hiding information and being deceitful, dishonest and self-serving.

Since when this occurred Kerry was a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee (from 1993 to 2000, although he only showed up for 11 of 49 meetings), what responsibility does he bear for pretending not to be aware of this type of thing while he makes accusations against the current administration?

The Clinton/Gorey administration has a lot to answer for, but they will never have to. They covered up terrorist acts in this country, blamed them on "right wingers." I wish so much this would become public knowledge.

Clinton and the DNC saw much benefit in playing up the threat to national security by a "vast right wing conspiracy" of "anti-government types" who "listen to talk radio". The Oklahoma City Bombing gave Bill Clinton a second term when few saw much chance. The Olympic Park bombing was still unsolved by the election.

And have people forgotten the wild goose chase that Bill Clinton set the FBI on hunting down "racists" burning down "black churches"? There was no rash of such activities and on investigation, some were accidents, while others were committed for insurance fraud.

And people wonder why this nation is almost violently divided today? For 12 years liberals have demonized conservatives. For 12 years liberals have race baited minorities to keep them voting Democrat. For 12 years liberals have pushed class envy.

And now they stand poised to riot in the streets if they lose this election. Civil War II is at our doors. Islamofascists are our greatest threat. Global socialists are our second greatest threat.

Civil War II is at our doors. Islamofascists are our greatest threat. Global socialists are our second greatest threat.

But the Dem world view has collapsed, which is making them even more upset. The scheme failed. I see the Dems just coming unravelled. If we can keep our nerve and remain calm no matter what they do, we'll make it through the next election just fine.

We'll be done with this next bump in two weeks! The world will be a different place (to some degree) no matter how the election shakes out. We'll all learn to deal with it together.

So, with the Rudolph trial for the B'ham abortion clinic bombing coming up, do you think any of this will come out?

And people wonder why this nation is almost violently divided today? For 12 years liberals have demonized conservatives. For 12 years liberals have race baited minorities to keep them voting Democrat. For 12 years liberals have pushed class envy.

It's been going on for much longer than 12 years. The difference is in 1988 Rush Limbaugh, in the 1990s the internet, and in the new century the rise of Fox News gave voice to the Silent Majority. Liberals have pushed class envy since FDR and maybe longer. They have race baited since 1776 but that effort has been successful since they stole claim to the 1964 civil rights act.

And now they stand poised to riot in the streets if they lose this election. Civil War II is at our doors.

We are not close to civil war. Act Up, and Earth First were attracting liberals in the 80's, and the media hated Reagan and religion. The Vietnam War reelected Nixon in a landslide but watergate elected Carter in the 70s. The Sixties? Race riots, protests, soldiers in the streets, assasinations...even then we didn't have a civil war.

Today Kerry can't attract a crowd in liberal area's, Dubya has huge crowds in moderate and even liberal areas. We have now had 5 straight elections where the voters gave Republicans the majority in the Congress. Today with the loss of moderate 'rats through election, party switching, and retirement the rats are a minority in the House, Senate, Governors, and for the first time since 1932 we have majority control of State Legislatures, and total number of State Legislators. Those legislators will be tomorow's congressmen. I believe America is headed to the right and that is a good thing for me and my children.

The 'rats are more liberal than ever, yet they still face a 3rd party assault from Nader. Dubya's 2000 win has not strengthened the 'rats. I've been seeing lots of stories in the media about record voter registration. Some of that may be fraud by crack heads, but I think much of it is due to a massive grass roots effort. This week a GOP volunteer came to my door with literature and an excellent understanding of the issues. That did not happen in 2000. The political ads from the RNC, Dubya, SBVFT, and other pro Republican 527s are non-stop in liberal Madison WI. Dubya is gonna win WI for us for the first time since 84. I believe Dubya will win by a landslide and bring in many new Republican Senators.

September 11 was enough to wake up most of us. Bush is now punishing those that would destroy America. For people like Dennis Miller and Zell Miller that is the only issue. I am a one issue Republican this year.

Richard Jewell was the perfect model(profile) for Klintoon's crowd. A white male, southerner, and trying to do what was right save innocent people. I am sure if possible klintoon and crew would have interned all the white militia groups. They were termed, Terrorists of the State." Reno was a real high-speed AG, she enabled the slaughter of innocent people at Waco. Heads should have rolled at the FBI, ATF, DOJ and the Military for this carnage of injustice. Bush/Cheney 2004

I'm not as certain about this as you are. I lived through all of it and I don't remember the animosity to the levels we now have. These are people trying to pull off a bloodless coup. This is more important to the safety and well being of America and her people than anything that has come before. IMO.

My personal belief is that hundreds of thousands of people need to leave this country starting with the ACLU and the UN. We have to reduce the enemy within before it is too late.
