Sheriff: Man Says He Was Hired to Provide Phony Voter Registrations
(10/18/04 - Defiance, Ohio) Defiance County authorities said today they have arrested a man on a felony charge of submitting phony voter registration forms. Sheriff's officers say they are looking into allegations that the man was paid with crack cocaine in exchange for compiling the bogus forms. Authorities said 22 year-old Chad Staton of Defiance had fraudulently filled out more than 100 voter registration forms. He is free on his recognizance to await arraignment Friday in Defiance Municipal Court.
No other charges have been filed in the case. But, officers said they interviewed a Toledo woman who claimed that she had paid Staton with cocaine for the phony voter registrations. Officers said they took voter registrations and drug paraphernalia from the Toledo woman's home. The woman said she had been recruited by a Cleveland man to obtain voter registrations. Authorities said the phony registrations were submitted to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections in Cleveland by the NAACP's National Voter Fund. There's no comment from George Forbes, Cleveland chapter president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

If you want to help get this story covered in Cleveland, Wills and Coleman host a popular morning drive time show and are fairly conservative. Trivisonno is an off the wall sports guy who talks about everything and likes controversial stories.

Damn that pisses me off. It is not a common name, and now it's tanted by the 2000 election, people like this, and the guy working for Kerry. And I used to like my name!

"Authorities said the phony registrations were submitted to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections in Cleveland by the NAACP's National Voter Fund."
"Officers said they took voter registrations and drug paraphernalia from the Toledo woman's home."
Combining these two key facts here is where this story has a chance to get very big and very ugly for the NAACP. The police obviously broke this story when Chad the crack user turns in his phony voter registration documents and in turn Ms. Crack dealer turns them into the NAACP, who turns them into the county. The cops track them back, follow me please, there are however still more voter registration application forms apparently completed and of unknown number still in Ms. Cracker Dealer's home. Who else was turning them in to her? How many dealers did she have working, and how many crack dealers were working for the NAACP? This story has the potential to expose a major voter fraud ring registering people without their knowledge so the NAACP could manufacture votes on election day. Mostly speculation but the recovery of additional voter registration forms at the crack dealer's home may be very significant evidence.

Apparently so: my wife's home town. Part rural, part union sort of sleepy working class town in NW Ohio. One of those classic Midwest small towns that has a "real" downtown.

I emailed the story to Rush Limbaugh, Mike Reagan, Laura Ingraham, and my local talk-show hosts.

I emailed the story to Rush Limbaugh, Mike Reagan, Laura Ingraham, and my local talk-show hosts. Good for you for taking on this difficult proactive work. Problem is, this is a nuanced story. Again, nuanced and it's not as un-nuanced as you may think.

Hate to say it, but it may be time to start using just the first initial such as in B.Stepnen Jobbs for example, or just the firest 2 initals, B.S.Jobbs. Well, that won't work either.
Jusk kidding of course. (BG)

Kerry chastized Pres. Bush in the 3rd debate for not meeting with the NAALCP. I think that by not meeting with this left-wing organization Bush ended their long running charade. Also unmasked during his presidency were the U.N., NOW, American Bar Association, Jesse Jackson, CBS and a host of others stealthy liberal entities. It's been fun to watch.
