I voted straight ticket GOP, as my tagline has been advertising for a while now.
Get out there, folks, and vote for Dubya !!
As soon as I get off work today!!! ALL GOP ALL THE WAY...
Just how many imperfect voters do you suppose they get??
Early voting begins in Texas today 10-18-2004 -

Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my Texas ping list!. . .don't be shy.
No, you don't HAVE to be a Texan to get on this list!
You voted for W so you are the perfect voter. I dropped off my absentee ballot for CO last Friday.
I wanted to be first to vote in my precinct in Randall County (south half of Amarillo). Got there 5 minutes before polls opened...a line OUT THE DOOR!!! Probably 40 people ahead of me, so I didn't wait. Went back a few minutes ago to try again...even worse! Randall County will probably go 70-80% Bush.
What exactly is "early voting"? I know what voting by absentee ballot is, but I've never heard of actually showing up at a polling place before election day.
I will be punching the straight GOP ticket this time too. Collin County put a copy of the ballot on their election website so I was able to look it over before polls open today.
My mother-in-law will also be punching the straight GOP ticket now that Ralph Hall has switched to the GOP. She is in his district and always voted for him even though he was officially a Dem.
I am off to the polling place in a few minutes to cast my early vote for Dubya too.
Here, you just wave your card in reply to their, "Mornin' Jenny!", and stamp the computer printout as you're dragging the kiddoes to the voting tables. One advantage to living in the boonies is they know when someone rises from the grave and attempts to vote.
kerry is pushing HARD in FLA to vote early...my theory is twofold. 1) he wants word to leak out that more dems are voting (if they are in fact heeding his words) and 2) he's very worried something is coming out in the next 2 weeks to change minds.
I got there 15 minutes early - 6 ahead of me. The man behind me has a son who was just sent to Iraq, and one who just got back. One is in the Screaming Eagles. The man ahead of me was formerly in the Army. Several people back were dims. There were about 20 in line when I left.
THAT should be the number one goal of FreeRepublic, is to get every FREEPER in an election hall.
Working as a judge or clerk is a great way to keep the American system alive and free from corruption.
I'll be heading over to HEB to cast mine today at lunch!
NC Board of Elections Warning! Voting Straight Ticket Doesn't Vote for President!
Texas Alert!!!
Fox News reports that the US Supreme Court has sent back the Texas redistricing map to a lower court for them to "take another look at".
Dem scum wins a big one.
We have early voting in Florida, too, and I just voted. A bunch of Kerry supporters camped out in the park across from the supervisor of elections office, so that the first vote cast would be for Kerry - but guess what, they slept late, and a Republican walked in ahead of them, with the result that Alachua County's first vote for President went to GWB!!!
Gotta watch those "straight tickets". In some states the straight ticket does not include a presidential choice, since you aren't actually voting for the candidate.
I also went to the polls in Texas this morning (Plano), and got there at 8:15. I was the 42nd voter, and there were at least 50 people behind me in line when I left! My precinct is probably 90% Republican, so theoretically, voting Republican doesn't make much of a difference because so many candidates run unopposed and all Republican candidates who are opposed are still a shoe-in. So such a large crowd of voters this early makes it all the more surprising! I told my family that I'm voting early because if I die in the next 2 weeks, I want to make sure my vote still goes to Bush.
I voted straight-ticket Republican. Yay Bush!!
I'm in a medium-sized W. Texas city, and I'm going to "early vote" at a polling place in a predominately democrat, very minority, lower socioeconomic area of town today. I'll report back.
There are two types of Presidential Candidates:
Kerry, he cannot handle the ads by the Swift Boat veterans which criticize his Vietnam war record. Kerry has been crying and whining over these ads and the movie "Stolen Honor" and cant handle it anymore, he has even filed a complaint. What type of Commander In Chief would he make if he cant handle the heat?
Bush, he can handle the heat from moveon.org, Michael Moores Fahrenheit 9-11 movie, war protestors, terrorists, and the world. He is a tough strong Commander In Chief and a fearless warrior who keeps on standing tall, positive, and strong. Nothing fazes President Bush.
On November 2004 I will vote for President Bush. I would like to see a real man as our President and not a rich spoiled crybaby Gigolo.
