OBL is dead or captured, but our intel services issue tapes imitating OBL urging loose terrorists to go to Iraq so that our superior tech and tactics can kill them.
The Afgan operation was to kill AQ leaders and to destroy the training camps. But a leaderless AQ was dangerous, more dangerous.
The Iraq operation was to mop up some terrorists and establish a beachhead in the heart of Arab culture [sic]. We have taken both sides of Iran.

*If* Kerry were elected, you may rest assured, as soon as he was briefed in his new capacity, he would probably spill the beans and further condemn President Bush for not telling it.

Well, no wonder we can't find OSBL , because, there was nothing left of him, after the US used 6 daisy cutters in those mountians.
I guess they are having a hard time finding any part of him left for DNA testing.
I guess the birds and rats ate the rest of him.

I agree that Bin Laden has assumed cave temperature and that his 'doctor' will never admit it because it would give Bush the credit and ensure him the election. (done deal anyway).
This war doesn't fail or succeed on the fate of Bin Laden, he has been nothing more than a figurehead for some time now, but knowing that he dwells in the fires of hell without his promised 72 virgins, would give us the closure we need, for 911.
This war now is about changing the face of the Middle East, which is far more important for the future of the world and for the liberation of those people enslaved by 'religious' fanaticism.

I think he's dead too. The idea that he is going from cave to cave lugging around his dialysis equipment always seemed a little far fetched. With all that equipment he would not exactly be a swift moving target.

I don't think Bush knows he's dead, but I believe he's dead for another reason.
Not one communication from Osama has failed to emphasize that he knew the extreme fear-inducing power of mass murder which included the suicide component. Willing martyrs were the source of the jihadis power, and bin-Laden was aware of this.
I don't think there is any way he would allow the abandonment of martyr missions for remote detonations (Spain and Egypt) and anger inducing snatch-and-behead events(Iraq). He's certainly not at the helm, and this profound change in tactics is the evidence.

I believe that you are right on target. It is a shame that 50% of the country does not realize how fortunate that we are to have a President that puts the American people above his own reelection.

UBL is living with the rest of his family forever silent behind the wall of this close off society in Saudi Arabia.

He is going to WIN. How do I know? I don't I just have faith.

Actually, the video of him that came out after TB with his one arm incapacitated leads me to think that maybe he did escape wounded and has since died of the wound.
Still, no matter what the rationale, I can't imagine if he were dead that Bush would not reveal that during this election cycle. The stakes are just too high.

I am confident that Iran is next up after re-election. However, the only question is whether it is a military operation or a massive "inside" job/revolution.

"*If* Kerry were elected, you may rest assured, as soon as he was briefed in his new capacity, he would probably spill the beans and further condemn President Bush for not telling it." No he wouldn't... Kerry would be more likely to claim that he himself was responsible for the death of OBL... to further his hero status, doncha know.

He's not pining, he's passed on. This terrorist is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late terrorist. He's a stiff. Bereft of life, he rots in hell. If you hadn't nailed him to the perch, he would be pushing up the daisies. He's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-terrorist!
