If Bush announced UBL's death 48 hours b4 the election it would put Kerry in a quandry...does he praise it, or say it is for political gain at the expense of exposing himself as the traitor he is????
The latter of course...Kerry would convert to Southern Baptist and heal a quadraplegic.... to get elected.
As long as he isn't *officially* dead he can be sighted anywhere we need him to be sighted.
Once he's *officially* dead the dims will declare the WOT over and demand all our troops return to US soil.
If he is dead, how come his minions haven't leaked it out or promoted his martyrdom? The claim that if he were killed or captured were made public, there would be no more justifying the war is like saying since we've captured Saddam the war in Iraq is over.
This is nothing more than a conspirocy theory and a BIG one at that.

Maybe Bush hasn't announced it because we can't prove it and no one will believe it without proof.

I'm more curious why we haven't seen Mansoor Ijaz around lately. He usually has the inside dope on what's happening in the Muslim world and this sort of topic would be right up his alley.

That Kerry would use for his own advantage the limitations posed by national security strategy shows the buttons he is willing to push to further his own ends. If he were to have the buttons of power at his disposal as President, the question for my fellow Freerepublicers is, to what extent would Kerry circumvent the Constitution to further the cause of socialism?

Last night I was listening to a high ranking Special Forces guy on the Royal Marshal radio show. I can't remember if he was an officer or enlisted. He was with the Special Forces for over 25 years.
Nevertheless, he said through his contacts the OBL is dead. We got him on Dec 15, 2001. He had been identified by multiple intelligence groups. Our Special Forces units cornered him into a cave with 5 entrances. He said we pounded the gave with C-130 Gunship, and B-1 bombers for 7 hours.
This guy also said if someone would ask him to go get OBL. He would first ask them to prove it he was still alive.
I just thought you might find that interesting. There are three reasons I think this would be kept a secret.
1) To keep the rest of the terrorist network uniformed that their spiritual leader is dead
2) To prevent OBL from becoming a Martyr, and to prevent new OBLs.
3) To prevent the DemRats from saying well the war on terror has been one.
Just thought you would like to know.
