Hmmmmm.
Draft dodger vs traitorous Commie.
History says we pick the draft dodger; after all Slick Willie Clintax was elected twice, wasn't he?

Didn't he use the "draft dodger" thing after the convention?
He's repeating the New Draft lie--talk about being bereft of ideas, he can't even get through one election without showing reruns

Sounds like kerry's paranoia is coming to the fore. Bush has never breathed one word about kerry's service, except to say he "served honorably." But don't hold your breath waiting for a reporter to ask kerry which specific statement Bush made against kerry's service. You'll never hear any of them do that.

"I'm not going to have my commitment to defend this country questioned by those who refused to serve when they could have and by those who have misled the nation into Iraq."
As far I can tell, the President and Vice-President, have not made this an issue. What the h3ll is he talking about?
Senator Kerry, Sign the 180.

Oh, yeah -- you'll also never hear a reporter ask kerry about his 4 deferments and his denied request for a 5th one. Seems kerry wanted to "continue his studies," the exact same reason Cheney was deferred. But nope, you'll never hear him asked about that, even though every lamestream reporter in the country is well-aware of it.

One thing everybody needs to be reminded of is that joining the navy was one way to reduce the chances of going to vietnam.

Pop quiz. Who said this?
"It appears that with the deadline for exile come and gone, Saddam Hussein has chosen to make military force the ultimate weapons inspections enforcement mechanism. If so, the only exit strategy is victory, this is our common mission and the world's cause. We're in this together. We want to complete the mission while safeguarding our troops, avoiding innocent civilian casualties, disarming Saddam Hussein and engaging the community of nations to rebuild Iraq."
If you said GWB, you'd be wrong.
This was on John Kerry's website circa April 2003. Take a look for yourself - just click on the April 2, 2003 link on this page:

But Kerry's only had one consistent position on Iraq. Right.

Senator Kerry. How many deferments did you seek, and how many did you receive? Is it not true that you enlisted because after a year of deferment, you asked for further deferment to study in PARIS, had been turned down and you chose to enlist in the Navy and hoped to avoid direct combat, as opposed to being drafted into the branches which saw MORE action?

Oh my . . . this is getting to be funny. This is gonna be good. The gop obviously knows that this is a psychological hot-button of Kerry's, they're needling him, and he's taking the bait yet again. You'd think he'd know better, but he can't help himself. Looks like we're gonna go back to this buffonery, fighting Vietnam all over again, and look for Kerry's poll numbers to start dropping.

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry declared he had taken enough "incoming" yesterday and blasted back at his Republican antagonists by suggesting George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney were draft dodgers. That does it.

In his toughest counter-punch of the campaign, the decorated war hero said he was not going to have his military qualifications questioned by "those who refused to serve" in the Vietnam War. I guess he's writing off the men who served in the National Guard and Reserves from 1965 through 1972.
