SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told a crowd of John Kerry supporters that this year's presidential election is crucial, from setting the country's future environmental agenda to deciding several Supreme Court appointments.
"If we do not recognize what four more years of the current administration would mean to our country, then shame on us," she said, adding that President Bush had pushed a "radical right-wing agenda" on America.
Clinton made the comments Friday during a fund-raiser attended by about 300 Kerry supporters in San Francisco, then delivered a similar speech in Long Beach.
