You just wanted to hug the man (even if you don't normally hug men)
Teraaaaaza is SO not classy. Laura radiates class.
thanks
Er, I mean a *plan* is not a litany of complaints.
He invoked Dick Cheneys daughter when talking about homosexual marriage, a gratuitous jab that will be taken very poorly by most Americans.
I say keep it right where it is until Nov. 3.
I am doubting my own ability to judge these things. Last Friday I thought Bush was a KO. I actually thought Kerry seemed more human today. Anaylsts are saying Bush wins. I give up..but Go Bush and Go Cards!
I thought they were: "Hey, get out of my purse!"
Let him keep it there just a while longer...until Nov 3rd. :^)
Party time indeed. I'm just about to leave the office and head for a tall cold Sam Adams.
"Get out of my purse."
FOTFLMAO
Best line that did him very well? When asked what he's learned most from the women in his life he responded....
"To listen to them...(huge laughter).....and to stand up straight and not scowl........(more laughter).."
Now constrast that with..."All three of us married up".
WHAT A HOOOT!!!!!
There there was the Kerry mention that he has been a hunter since the age of 12 or 13. I guess that is what privaledge gets you. I was not allowed to take Hunter Safety until 14 and that was not due to my parents.
Kerry's story about his Mom sounded just like the stories that Al Gore told about his family.
I believe Kerry lost his integrity when he came back from Vietnam and worked so hard to undermine the war effort and villify his former comrades in arms.
Bush won tonight because he was optimistic. Kerry was negative and attacked with low bows.
He ticked Andrea Mitchell off with his attack on her husband. She said he was PANDERING on social security. She had orgasms everytime she mentioned Clinton or Gore but Kerry is on her s...list now.
Bush on the other hand didn't make any such statements this time but landed many more substantive and fresh answers.
Yes, and I'm pretty sure sure somebody sat him down after the first debate and said "I never want to hear the phrase 'hard work' in any more of your debate answers. I've gotta admit, I (gladly) never heard him say it again after the first debate!
Having gone through the Gore War down here in FL, I say keep it right there on Kerry's neck until sunset on inaugeration day, just in case.
I really don't think Kerry was making a joke. The comment I married up is often used by men as a compliment to their wives. It is really a pretty trite statement. However, Kerry unintentionally confirmed what many have said, i.e., he is a gigilo who marries rich women. It got a laugh, but the joke was on Kerry. Teresa will make him pay for that remark. As someone with a European wife myself, I don't think Teresa was amused or understood how Kerry really meant the remark.
