" I was trying to listen on the radio but I missed it (I'm still at work). What did he say? '
Out of the clear blue, Kerry says- " If you would talk to Dick Cheney's daughter, she's a lesbian."
It was so obvious an attempt to make sure that all those right wing hate mongers know that VP Cheney has a daughter who is a lesbian.
In case they didn't get it when Edwards did the same thing last week.
Mary Cheney stays out of the limelight and I am not even sure if she has talked about her sexual preferences publicly.
Kerry basically outed her.

I loved the way Kerry started out talking the same dry points. That must have turned voters off right away.

I didn't see the debate. On what issues did he (Kerry)hurt himself?

It was sooo funny when Kerry basicly, "Yea I married up,..um..lets talk about my MOM!" Kerry's dad married up also. (Into Forbes wealth.)
To: Poohbah
Kerry's performance was so depressing, the DU server committed suicide. It overdosed on f****s, so I hear.

Anybody else tear up when he was talking about his love for Laura? No, but I admit to an emotional response to Bush talking about the 19 year old woman in Afghanistan casting the first vote in their election. I thought about the courageous men and women in the armed forces who made that dream come true.
Bush is RIGHT when he speaks of liberty and freedom and he right when he says Gods greatest gift to man is free will and freedom. God love him.

Bush hit on all cylinders tonight: composed, compassionate, strong on vision and leadership. His comments about his family and his closing statement were tremendous. The only time the camera showed Mama T, she had a dour look to her while Laura's face was aglow. When the MSM are long winded before stating Kerry won or it was a draw, it means they just couldn't face the truth that Bush delivered, BIGTIME.

I agree Dubya really was running on cylinders tonight. He looked tough, in command, straight-forward, no BS, believable, sincere and passionate about his beliefs. I think he won the election right here tonight. However, he will not rest on his laurels and will continue to deliver his message around the country.
Also, Kerry's comment about Chenney's daughter was unseemly and his comment about someone leaving their spouse because they are gay was weird. That gained Kerry 1% of the gay vote and 99% of America said WTF is he talking about? Stupid, out of touch Kerry. It was a Lambert Field type of comment and he probably thought he was being cool, clever and oh so sensitive. Weird.

Did you know his grandfather made big money with the opium trade from China. Savage was expounding on that recently.
To: ElkGroveDan
He did win, although he could have done better. Disappointing response on minimum wage, and the Democrats may get some mileage out of the flu shots. Best moments: excellent explanation of why health care is so expensive due to third-party payments, and "a program is not a litany of complaints". In fact, that's a good tag line.

Bush got the big time laughing response from the crowd. Kerry tried to be funny ,but the only one that laughed was the moderator out of embarrassment for kerry.

How about Kerry's mom's final words to him "Integrity, integrity, integrity"
That sounded so phoney.

CBS News has Kerry up 82-18% Right. And they have the documents to prove it.

The DU forums database is currently down while we do important maintenance. Please try again shortly, and sorry for the inconvenience.
How can you stomach to go in there? Every post is laced with acid-filled hate, that I just want to retch whenever I see the name DU.
Of course, the fact that nobody is partying over there tonight is a sure sign that Bush won the debate.
