I just listened to a little of Glenn Beck, Kitty, and he watched it on a large screen.

He said that Kerry's hand was literally shaking when he picked up a glass of water. He was, IMO, shaken by the humiliation of being caught in so many lies.

Perhaps the Lord is working on him, and AFTER HE LOSES ON NOVEMBER 2nd he will do some serious soul searching......

I thought I caught President Bush almost making a snide remark about 'credibility' while talking directly to the CBS moderator. I'm looking for it in the transcript?

Anyone else catch that moment?

Found it!

BUSH: In all due respect, I'm not so sure it's credible to quote leading news organizations about -- oh, never mind. Anyway, let me quote the Lewin report. The Lewin report is a group of folks who are not politically affiliated. They analyzed the senator's plan. It cost $1.2 trillion.

I noticed Kerry's hands shaking in the other debates. Edwards shook, too. Cheney kept his hands clasped together - so no shaking.

Kerry's quote from the debate:

"My faith affects everything that I do, in truth. There's a great passage of the Bible that says, "What does it mean, my brother, to say you have faith if there are no deeds? Faith without works is dead."

Mr. Kerry your faith does not affect everything you do. You are by profession a legislator, you write Laws, but you will not acknowledge that the ultimate Lawgiver has any say in the Laws you write. "cannot impose my beliefs on others"
A stop sign imposes the belief that one shouldn't harm another person or another persons property. Mr. Kerry perhaps we can not legislate stop signs because they impose the moral belief that we shouldn't impose moral belief that we should not harm an innocent person, or an innocent persons property.

James is saying is that if you have true faith, there will be good fruit to show for it. James is not saying that the good works earn ones salvation.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Eph 2:8-9

"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
So then, you will know them by their fruits.
Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter."

Matthew 7:15-21

One of the items which distinguishs Christainity from all other religions is that salvation is a free gift not based on works. Good works come after the Holy Spirit has changed a heart that was dead in sin.

The antithesis of that can be seen in what John Dewey wrote in the Humanist Manifesto I (a set of beliefs based on man trying to be autonomous from God and making himslef his own god.) "No deity will save us, we must save ourselves". Nearly all of Kerry positions mirror those expressed in the Humnanist Manifesto I & II.

Kerry's tree clearly does not produce good fruit. A large part of his campaign is based on trying to make me covet anothers property because they earn more money then I do. He told us in the second debate that he will use my tax dollars to dismember innocent babies. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

He's "right," which is to say that Buchanan is "left," as in "left reality." You know, that's a cautionary tale about a CHRISTIAN who lets himself get eaten up with hate for the enemy---then he becomes what he hated.

Yeah. I try to take the stand that Sean Hannity has. He says, "I don't hate liberals. I just don't want them in positions of power."

Sometimes, though, my...uh...resolve is tested...

It's no wonder that Jesus said, "Bless those who hate you; bless and do not curse"; "Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake", "If you love those who love you, and hate those who hate you, don't the heathen do the same?"

lawgirl, he refuses to use Condi, Colin, or the others because of their race. He chose them for their skills, not the color of their skin, so he would NEVER say, "Look at me. I appointed......" to make points in a debate.

He is absolutely color blind, and I love it!

If you cannot distinguish between an attractive woman - Coulter - and Kerry and his facially challenged progeny...whatever I say will not convince you.

Ciao.

I remember specifically yesterday that Freepers said they would NOT freep the debate polls. I saw that in spades when the polls showed Kerry winning by 76%. I thought at the time Freepers may have made a mistake. BUT... The Nov poll will be an even bigger surprise. Anyone who watched that debate and thinks Kerry won last night is smokin too many dandilions... Bush walked all over Kerry.

Something that got my attention from the debate was Kerry stating how during 9/11 the politicians were AMERICANS and not DEM or REPUB. Everyone was united.

Then he states that now President Bush is presiding over the most partisan government every imagined in the entire universe.

Well, I have a story that explains this well.

It is the story about the about the old married couple, riding along in the car on a Sunday after church.

The wife, sitting there looking out her window, turns to her husband of many years, and says,"You know, I remember when we used to take drives like this, and you and I sat right next to each other. It was so romantic, and I miss that. Now we sit far apart"

Her husband turns and looks at his wife, and says, "I'm not the one who moved."

President Bush stated his goals, his objectives, his methods, right after 9/11 and he has not swayed ONE SINGLE BIT from what he promised he would do.

SO WHO MOVED????? sinator Kerry,,,, who moved.

Wasn't it GWB who said that Kerry was a sheep in wolves clothing? He got criticized for it because he supposedly said it wrong, but I think he said what he meant. Am I wrong about this. Also, I totally agree with what you quoted.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Eph 2:8-9

I guess this is the point I was going for, but you said it so much more eloquently. Thank you.
