As the allies of darkness align...

Ain't never going to happen ... Even if Kerry says I can't get health care under his system unless I have a chip... I guess I die.

I think your right... The VeriChip miniaturized Radio Frequency Identifcation (RFID) Device is the core of all VeriChip applications. About the size of a grain of rice, each VeriChip contains a unique verification number, which can be used to access a subscriber-supplied database providing personal related information. And unlike conventional forms of identification, VeriChip cannot be lost, stolen, misplaced or counterfeited. Once implanted just under the skin, via a quick, painless outpatient procedure (much like getting a shot), the VeriChip can be scanned when necessary with a proprietary VeriChip scanner. A small amount of Radio Frequency Energy passes from the scanner energizing the dormant VeriChip, which then emits a radio frequency signal transmitting the individuals unique verification (VeriChipID) number. The VeriChip Subscriber Number then provides instant access to the Global VeriChip Subscriber (GVS) Registry - through secure, password protected web access to subscriber-supplied information. This data is maintained by state-of-the-art GVS Registry Operations Centers located in Riverside, California and Owings, Maryland.

All I can say is that the FDA made me a bit of money today with this decision...

Everyone needs a speculative holding or two. This has been one of mine for a few years, playing it up and down. Loaded up before the reverse split, and this move today was quite pleasant.

These aren't even the best ones, they are trying to develop some now that can operate, powered by the bodies electrical system. These could operate for indefinite periods of time, possibly from birth, and contain all your information, from fingerprints to DNA. They could also be updateable by wireless transmitter, to include information like SS#, medical records, driving records, etc..

Kinda Scary..

Now let the Conspiracy Theories begin..

Wait, why are the silent black helicopters hoovering over my house again,,run away!

... in a procedure that takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

Please report for chip implantation at your nearest polling place 20 minutes after Kerry's swearing-in.

The Company will hold a conference call today at 10:30 am eastern time in order to discuss the FDA’s decision, Company’s marketing strategy and medical applications for VeriChip. Interested participants should dial (800) 472-8309. The conference ID is 1531948. The call will also be webcast and will be available on the Home Page of Applied Digital’s web site at www.adsx.com.

As previously disclosed, the FDA response is the result of the Company’s 510(k) application and subsequent de novo application for the medical and healthcare uses of VeriChip, originally submitted in October 2003. Digital Angel Corporation is the manufacturer of VeriChip and has licensed the technology to VeriChip Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Digital, for human applications.

No Chip anytime soon for all of us I hope...

According to the Scriptures, the "mark of the beast" is received on the right hand or forehead. With modern technology, it is very possible that this mark may be directly linked with a computer chip. But regardless if it is or isn't, everyone who is living immediately before the return of Christ will be forced to take this mark in order to buy or sell anything:

"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666" (Rev. 13:16-18).
But this mark, which will be universally issued around the entire world, MUST NOT be received under any circumstances, even by Christians! Scripture goes on to say:

"A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If ANYONE worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of THE SAINTS who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus' " (Rev. 14:9-12).

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - Security has reached the subcutaneous level for Mexico's attorney general and at least 160 people in his office - they have been implanted with microchips that get them access to secure areas of their headquarters. Mexico's top federal prosecutors and investigators began receiving chip implants in their arms in November in order to get access to restricted areas inside the attorney general's headquarters, said Antonio Aceves, general director of Solusat, the company that distributes the microchips in Mex The chips that have been implanted are manufactured by VeriChip Corp., a subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions Inc. (ADSX) of Palm Beach, Fla. They lie dormant under the skin until read by an electromagnetic scanner, which uses a technology known as radio frequency identification, or RFID, that's now getting hot in the inventory and supply chain businesses. Erik Michielsen, director of RFID analysis at ABI Research Inc., said that in theory the chips could be as secure as existing RFID-based access control systems such as the contactless employee badges widely used in corporate and government facilities.
