Do you know that every time the Border patrol picks up people coming across the border and attempts to deport them, the ACLU, amnesty intl., you name it - every bleeding heart liberal group is on their ass to feed them, give them health care, college education, all the stuff we have to earn. I am serious about the patrol - they do get accused of racism if they do their jobs too well.
Fox had a story about a Taliban guy they released for Gitmo who is in Pakistan now holding hostages - all above and Natl Red Cross insists these people be let go --and we know exactly what they will do.. If those Chechens were caught, I bet Bianca Jagger, Rob Reiner, Ed Asner etc would be screaming bloody murder!
I find the timeing of this report suspicious. Very little time to substantiate it before the debate, and you know Kerry has a "plan" to protect the border. And good old Bob Schieffer is already planning to ask a question about illegal immigration. Almost sounds like a setup.
Bush deserves to lose and is replaced by...a McGovernite lib.

This is only a couple thousand miles short of the equator. Might as well demand that we "seal" the equator.
Yes, of course we shoud devote more resources to border patrol and protection. I'm all for it. But we should not delude ourselves into thinking that this gives us any sort of protection.
I am positive bush will win.... UNLESS... this happens. His huge blindside has been the pourus border. If it is established that they got through he will be done for. We repubs in california and those in arizona have been screaming about it.
This just can't possibly be true. Just last week someone was indicating in this forum only mexicans enter the US illegally from the south.

Polistricksters will never voluntarily address the border issue. Talk is cheap. The issue is like the war on drugs. Remember? If the government wanted drugs gone, they would take action to make them gone. They haven't. Hence, they really don't want them gone. Same with the border issue.

If this is true, it's not that big a deal. These are just honest hard workign Chechen terrorists doing jobs that citizens of the United States don't care to do. I can't believe the racism exhibited by those who object to this.

Thing is I don't think we can trust the mexican government that much. They have people all over the place going in and out of that country that they don't really care. If we seal off the mexican border, terrorist would have to go through the airline, a ship, or the canadian border.
