Quattrocchi, il Magnifico. How proud his countrymen. Thank you, MS.

This is the best read of the day. A nice reminder that a willingness to resist is still a virtue.

What a great column. I'm not surprised the Telegraph declined to publish it, the cowards.

I was willing to shoot anyone who tried to force me. If you’re not, you shouldn’t be there."

More sage advice from Mr. Steyn.

Oh, I doubt if it was any "heartless" references that got the column pulled.

And, if you don’t want to wind up in that situation, you need to pack heat and be prepared to resist at the point of abduction.

That's what got the column pulled. To some that just isn't proper these days.

As Churchill recommended in a less timorous Britain: You can always take one with you.

Yes.

But, if I had to choose in advance the very last words I’d utter in this life, “Tony Blair has not done enough for me” would not be high up on the list.

Seriously -- were those the man's last words?

The concept of "packing heat" is probably more offensive to Britons than the threat of decapitation. Sadly, it probably is to a great many Americans as well.
