"They Better Hope We Don't Win" - Kerry Campaign Threat to Sinclair Broadcasting

Linda Vester is currentlly interviewing Chad Clanton, described as a 'senior Kerry campaign advisor.'

Discussing the plans of the Sinclair broadcasting group to air "Stolen Honor," the documentary about Kerry's Vietnam war service, Clanton stated:

"They [Sinclair] better hope that we're not elected."

Vester immediately asked if that was intended as a threat to Sinclair that a Kerry administration would not renew their broadcast licenses. Clanton tried to back off, but the threat was unmistakable.

These people are thugs.

Commissioner Michael J. Copps reacted to reports that Sinclair Broadcast Group will preempt more than 60 local stations across the country to air an overtly political program in the days prior to the Presidential election.

ABC does this every hour on the hour. E.g., listeners to conservative talk show hosts on KSFO complain about the Democratic Party infomercial that airs at the top of each hour (as "The ABC News"). The hosts say the network requires it and, other than debunking its content during their own shows, there's nothing they can do about it.

I don't see how Sinclair showing Stolen Honor is any different in principle from AMC Theatres playing "Fahrenheit 9/11." Both companies are merely facilitating the viewing of a documentary by the public. And of course, Stolen Honor is unquestionably far more factually and historically accurate than Moore's pathetic propaganda film, which is really more of a comedy than a documentary. So I have to tell all you whining liberals and Dim senators--your complaints about Sinclair are groundless and totally without merit. By the way all you Libs and Kerry campaign staff, why are you so concerned about a factually accurate documentary covering Kerry's anti-war activies? Gee, I wonder why.

He's a fan of junk science, remember. My 23 year old son is a Type 1 Diabetic and a T-5 paraplegic. I am a medical professional. My son does not want to walk or be free of diabetes at the expense of innocent lives. HE FEELS THAT STRONGLY ABOUT IT! As a med. professional, I can tell you that it is mostly junk science at this point.
