Linda Vester is currentlly interviewing Chad Clanton, described as a 'senior Kerry campaign advisor.'
Discussing the plans of the Sinclair broadcasting group to air "Stolen Honor," the documentary about Kerry's Vietnam war service, Clanton stated:
"They [Sinclair] better hope that we're not elected."
Vester immediately asked if that was intended as a threat to Sinclair that a Kerry administration would not renew their broadcast licenses. Clanton tried to back off, but the threat was unmistakable.
These people are thugs.
-snip- ... For years, Copps was an aide to Sen. Fritz Hollings (D-S.C.). During that period, he got to know Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), the Democratic Party's presidential nominee.
If a President Kerry turns to Copps to lead the FCC, any momentum that's now behind media deregulation would be gone in a flash.
"I think it's time to really get serious around this place," he told reporters gathered in his office last Wednesday. "It's time to start over and do it right."
POWELL ADVERSARY
Over the last three years, Copps has been a thorn in the side of FCC chairman Michael Powell. Because Powell normally had the votes to prevail, Copps relied on the media and friendly public-interest groups to stir public awareness about policy changes he considered to be extreme.
To Copps, control of the media is a paramount issue.
"I don't have a higher priority than this," Copps said.
My point is that NPR is a de facto taxpayer-supported house organ for the DNC. It is appalling hypocrisy for Democrats to condemn a privately funded entity for broadcasting a program they disagree with when they have taxpayer-supported NPR shilling for them nationally around the clock seven days a week.
Vote these people out of office before they get in!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like the mask slipped, and the ugly truth about what's really lurking behind the facade of the Kerry forces was seen, for a few seconds, live on television. Doesn't surprise me in the least.
Be ye of good cheer .. this shows nothing but sheer desperation and fear!
goggle this
"Since the fall of Milosevic, Serbia, under the auspices of Soros-backed "reformers", has become less, not more, free. The recently lifted state of emergency saw more than 4,000 people arrested, many of them without charge, political parties threatened with bans, and critical newspapers closed down"
google, not goggle. ha.
Ah, I get it. Good point. They hypocrisy of the Dems is unending.
You bet....BRING IT ON...scumbags!!!
Exactly, though I have to say that I was shocked that the threat was so explicit.
Thanks for the ping!

Additionally, their video clone is doing hit piece on Bush tonight masking as a documentary (PBS, Frontline).
Yeah, I saw the Frontline guy on Linda Vester's show. He told Linda that he didn't even interview Barne's daughter about the allegations that she is making about his truthfulness in the 60 minutes piece. Now Frontline is putting on again as gospel.
Do ya'll think Ollie North would put "Stolen Valor" on in place of his "War Stories" on a Sunday night before the election? Ollie can't stand what Kerry did in 1971.
Limbaugh covered this heavily early in the 2:00 hour.
These people are insane. Nobody would have noticed that Sinclair was planning on running this documentary if it wasn't for the Democrats raising holy hell about it. You know Sinclair isn't going to preempt really popular shows like "CSI" to run this thing; they're going to dump it in time slots their stations never win anyway.
My, my, my, my, my, my, my. She better hope she has a job when she gets back to the office.
Let's roll. I'm ready.
'these people are thugs' How about Brown Shirts? If you don't agree you have no voice.
