I do see it as outrageous because it shows Kerry is not out to win the war on terror, just make a little progress and call it quits.

What do you expect from a flake like Kerry? The guy is total fruit if you ask me. That's my bias opinion. He turned his back on the lot of us after Vietnam, the man should be tried for treason, then shot.
There was a Kerry hack on Rita Cosby's show on Fox. Kellyanne Conway was the Rep. representative. Rita brought up this report and Kerry's nuisance quotes. The Kerry hack said that "proof" that it isn't that big of a deal is that it is Kerry that has "actual 9/11 family members campaining with him" and that they know that Kerry will do what Bush didn't and keep us safe from terror.
I don't know if he has dicussed this particular stupid statement of Kerry's with them though. Perhaps, they might not be so eager to be paraded out at campaign events like props.
Nuisance? More ignorance from a liberal who thinks we are still not at WAR.

We can keep terror at tolerable bay, but we'll never eradicate it...there's too many whackos out there.
I think you're right, though: the statement seems to indicate that, though we can't eradicate terrorism from the world, there is a logical point at which we stop invading other countries and it doesn't seem like Kerry is willing to take the ball to that goal.
Since the last debate and specifically this very minute I was just thinking the same thing! Hope he succeeds (with LOSING...don't anyone flame me!)

Yeah that's right. I just went to a 9/11 funeral two weeks ago. Remains were finally ID'd. So it all seems pretty relevant to me, and more so to that family.
