Fred said all over the country if you listened Republicans were breathing a sigh of relief, Bush did well. However, Fred only says tie.

I'm listening to Jay Severin about the debate. He's saying George Bush won the debate!! He was so worried about how the President would do

I was worried as well, Bush let Kerry and Lehrer get away with too much last time , and its why I didn't watch it. I was going to listen to it with Savage's commentary as I did with the VP debate but the station broadcast the debate straight from the network preempting Savage.

Real glad to see he did well and apparently was prepared for the handgrenade question at the end.

Kerry's smile is forced. He knows he lost big time. GW looks like a winner, he had a really good time. Mort and Barnes think it was a tie. They're wrong. GW owned that stage and he owned Kerry.
