I just fnished an hour of scripture reading and prayer for the President. In addition to Psalm 5, I also prayed Psalm 91, and reread the promises God made to Moses, to Daniel in the lion's den, and the words of Paul who tells us "If God be for us, then who can come against us?"

I stand in agreement with your beautiful prayer, ohio, and ask that God reveal his power tonight. Amen!

Father, we pray that Satan will be bound tonight as President Bush speaks from his heart those things You would have him say. We pray the enemy will be destroyed by their own cunning. Light the path that You would have our president follow, and guide and strengthen him for the journey. Remove the scales from those who are blinded by lust, greed, and ignorance. Touch their hearts and confirm in their souls Your will. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

I pray that You would give the President clarity of thought and tongue during the debate tonight. Let him not get flustered by the lies of the enemy, but counter them with clarity and grace.

Let him eat well, rest well, and exercise and spend time with Laura and the girls today. Most importantly let him spend much time in Your presence, seeking Your will, and praying to you, so he is prepared physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually for the debate.

Let him wallk in totally comfortable, totally relaxed, totally focused on getting his message out to the people. Please allow him to speak clearly without hesitation or repitition or stuttering. Speak through him, Lord.

Lord, we fear for our President's physical safety, also. Please give the Secret Service agents and anyone and everyone charged with checking people and the facility, supernatural vision and senses so they can detect any threat before it becomes a threat to anyone present.

We know that there is a chance for people to be placed in the audience soley to distract the president, or be mean, or evil. We pray first of all that if it is Your will they be kept away. If not, fill the President with Your Spirit so he is not unduly upset, but responds in the way You would.

We thank You that we have the privelege of knowing we can come to You, and You hear every prayer posted here and thought.
