AMERICAN SCHOOLS TARGETED
More news in the War on Terror...this time regarding some information found in Iraq. A computer disc was found containing information about schools in California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey and Oregon. What was the information about? Information like photos, floor plans, as well as an Education Department report on how to prepare and respond to a crisis. And why would this information be there?
Because terrorists put it there. Terrorists in Iraq that are preparing to strike the United States. And why would they strike a school? Just like they did in Beslan, Russia, where Islamic terrorists shot innocent children, the terrorists know that killing people's kids would get the biggest reaction. They have absolutely no respect for innocent non-Muslim human life, and they will do everything possible to kill as many Americans (young and old) as possible.
Somebody should ask The Poodle...if Iraq is not a terrorist threat, then why was this material found in Iraq? Because it is a terrorist threat, that's why.
I am always amazed at the reaction of the American people to various events. I am setting on the local circuit court jury this month, so have plenty of hurry up and wait time in the local court house.
Yesterday a gentleman struck up a conversation with me about the Cheney/Edwards debate. He started right off by telling me he thought Edwards did a fine job and that Cheney seemed bewildered by Edwards answers. As the conversation continued he told me he had two sons in the military and both had been to Iraq. I told him I had spent 25 years wearing a uniform and understood the sacrifices being made each and every day by our young men and women in uniform. I told him that I had spent a year in Viet Nam with no purple heart, but that I felt it was time well spent, and that without the young soldiers we have now in harm's way we would have more 9/11's.
He just simply clammed up. No response or reply, just pure silence. Later in the day I was approached by a man of about 30 who thanked me for my service and told me that I was 100% right on track. That if the Kerry/Edwards team gets control of the Whitehouse it will make Klintoon's eight years seem like a stroll in the park. He elaborated on how Kerry would give in to every foreign government and the UN on national security issues. His one problem with Bush is the lack of a solid policy on keeping our borders with Mexico and Canada secure.
That's the absolute ticket and one of the things I try to hit on heavily and squarely in my Dragon's Fury book series.
Amen, and then act accordingly.
My thinking:
Either the terrorists were planning for shopping mall attacks or school attacks before the election.
Both will kill innocents -- just like 9-11.

I believe there are many, many more like the second individual who talked to you than the cabal comprehends. I pray it is so.
I have plenty of issues with Bush, but they pale when set against Kerry. I agree with you 100% on the borders.
A good reason to be teaching in or attending a PRIVATE or PAROCHIAL school, huh?
I also work in the public schools, but I am not in Portland, OR where I think they would hit in Oregon.

I want to know that too. It chaps me the government doesn't trust us to help. If someone had floor plans, etc, then they had to have been sculking around these schools. Next question? Do we already have muslim terroist living in our neighborhoods masquerading as parents, neighbors, etc? One the other hand, I've watched a few and they all act suspicious. Just hope they all understand that if there's another school bombed, the internment camps are waiting.
It used to be that I thought of Mohammedans as immigrants in places like New York City. But today there is a large Mosque in Nashville, Tennessee and one sees these "new Americans" everywhere. Pardon me if I seem cynical of their good citizenship qualities. Why are we taking more legal immigrants from places like Yemen? Why is the number not zero? It not zero then immigration should just be offered as a reward to spies, informers, or those who have assisted Americans.
The time to act is now! Talk does us no good. Patrols should be started today and the local police should be called immediately to up patrols and inspections on the schools. All incoming supplies should be supervised and checked in only by the principals and/or the superintendent. Anybody that isn't a licensed gun carrier should get their conceal and carry license asap. I've noticed in my school as the children walk in between buildings there is no adult/teacher/administration member watching. Security must be heighted immediately. Call your school board members and the superintendent now! Tomorrow may be to late.

But a license to carry will not protect one from getting arrested at a school. After all, schools are gun-free zones. When the terrorists see those gun-free signs at the school entrace they will have to turn around or leave their weapons behind.
Even Western Kentucky University posted those idiotic signs on all building entrances. And they wonder why I don't contribute to the alumni fund.
When I drive by my school, no ones even looking out the door, much less looking in my car. I'm sorry if I get arrested for watching the children and making sure their safe. So be it, I'd be proud!
Agreed. I already saw increased police patrols at our school, but I also don't want to leave it up to them only. I am going to call the school district today to try and work out how we can mobilize. I encourage everyone to do the same.

Good Attitude !! But put the accent on the word "Concealed" and you should be okay.
Schools have had to shift gears from worrying primarily about domestic custody fight kidnappings to lone wierdo-wolf shooters to organized terrorists. Let's remind them to be watchful on all fronts.

Jury duty huh ?? Even though I get paid by my employer for jury duty if the case is BS may canned answer during the potential jury duty questioning is always ..............Hang the SOB !
