WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE SKYS OVER NORTHERN OHIO?
On Wednesday morning September 22nd, 2004 a caller rang the WTAM morning show, Wills and Coleman in the Morning, to report the sightings of strange colors in the sky. Other callers reported seeing the same thing while others tried to describe and/or explain the image. (You can hear a sampling of the calls below).
Afternoon host Mike Trivisonno was curious and ventured into his backyard to see for himself. Although he did not see the lights he did see something peculiar, jet contrails all over the crystal clear Cleveland sky. The contrails extended in all directions as far as the eyes can see. The contrails formed a checkerboard pattern. In all of Trivisonnos years on this planet he had never seen anything like it. Or maybe it was he just never noticed it. He played the phone calls from that morning and mentioned his observations on his #1 rated afternoon show that day and asked the question What the heck is going on
"NO particularly significant spiritual, sensory etc. sorts of things were felt or observed."
After all these years, I can't explain why we were not alarmed. That is very significant! From my sighting report:
"At the same time, we are not in any panic. We are unusually
serene. As if it's no big deal somehow. Maybe we were in
a stupor beyond awe."
Well, i must admit: that's as far as I got with my reading at 3 in the morning. So what was it? Is there a consensus?

Happily throwing out uninformed, innane comments since 1998. :-)
This thread began again a year after the last post with the post at #226.
That was the posting I was referring to. I don't see any great emphasis or attention to contrails THIS YEAR in this thread.
Sorry I missed the earlier mention of such. I was wrong about that.

"TWO FREEPERS in Aztec, NM saw a triangular UFO hanging motionless high in the southern sky."
That was me, testing out my new triangular kite. Never mind.
No sweat.
Thanks for your kind reply.
It often seems useful to resurrect an old thread rather than jangle sensibilities unnecessarily with yet another one on the same general topic.
As I understand it, Appy, that kite string would have had to have been awfullllllllllllllllllllllllly awfulllllllllllllllllllllly LONG.
And the kite would have had to have been super huge.
Thanks Dave, interesting report.
Thanks.
Interesting.
Therefore what, I don’t know.
Sure, Finny . . . putting you on the ping list and Dave will put you on the backup list.
Blessed New Year to you.
Thanks.
BTW, ping list updated with Finny and purged of . . .
I think the massive flyover was 1952 instead of 1957.
And thanks to you and a blessed New Year.
Thanks LVD.
This is a few years old, and several of the photos have been moved, (expect to see a lot of red X boxes), but UFO’s were photographed over Cleveland, the photo’s were taken by the Olmsted Falls Police photographer in October 2004, (very near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport), are mostly on page 215, see the below photo and a link to the series of photos.

thanks Dave
You’re already on levels A & B Finny.
Please let me know if you want on C & D.

Actually I think it was just that the Indians finally actually hit a home run, and the object was a baseball.
