WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE SKYS OVER NORTHERN OHIO?
On Wednesday morning September 22nd, 2004 a caller rang the WTAM morning show, Wills and Coleman in the Morning, to report the sightings of strange colors in the sky. Other callers reported seeing the same thing while others tried to describe and/or explain the image. (You can hear a sampling of the calls below).
Afternoon host Mike Trivisonno was curious and ventured into his backyard to see for himself. Although he did not see the lights he did see something peculiar, jet contrails all over the crystal clear Cleveland sky. The contrails extended in all directions as far as the eyes can see. The contrails formed a checkerboard pattern. In all of Trivisonno’s years on this planet he had never seen anything like it. Or maybe it was he just never noticed it. He played the phone calls from that morning and mentioned his observations on his #1 rated afternoon show that day and asked the question “What the heck is going on”
I tuned in one day when Trivassano was talking about this. I heard some of the callers. Contrails (or chemtrails) were all over the place.
Callers were saying that they were seeing fighter jets three, four, five at a time.
One young fellow called in and said that he lived out by the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. He had been sitting in the car with his grandmother the night before and they saw something in the sky hovering over the plant. He believed it was a UFO. They watched it until it left. The next day the planes/jets were laying the chemtrails over the area. The problem with that was the air space over the nuclear power plant is a no-fly zone - restricted air space.
I wish I could remember more of the calls. People were pretty worked up. It reminded me of the big UFO scares we had here back in the 70's.

Well, I live about 20 miles from Cleveland, and there have been multiple contrails and air traffic (high altitude) over the past several weeks that is quite uncommon.
Word from a source who works at Oberlin ATC center is that there are two positions on duty 24/7: one tracks civilian/commercial air traffic, and the second position tracks military air traffic.
A couple of weeks ago, the military tracker position controller was replaced by a military ATC.
I believe that the two nuclear power plants (Davis Besse near Toledo, Ohio, and Perry Plant about 40 miles East of Cleveland) are being watched by the military due to the pre-Election threat of a Terrorist act.
That's just my opinion, but I don't think it's a Dennis Kucinich hologram or anything along that line.

That wouldn't quite explain all the callers from first hand observations looking up into the sky, though, I'd think.

For sure! There was one report of the callers tales a few posts up.
Wright-Patterson AFB is near Dayton, about 200 miles away.
Mike Trivissano is a complete moron.
In Cleveland?
Yes, I saw post 121.
The con/chem trial business was debunked a year or two ago. Kind of surprising the news hasn't made it to Cleveland yet.
Other than that, callers can claim just about anything as to hover 'ufos'. And, unfortunately, peopel tend to see waht they expect to see.
I'd like to have been there myself . . .
