Dear Friend,
I do not know if you know or not that my Daddy was brutally murdered years ago. I write you on behalf of justice and my family members loss as well as many other families. The Mr. Diggs referred to in the following email and attachment was also known to be involved in 4 other robbery/murders, in which a gang of young men were responsible for the deaths of at least 5 upstanding, law-abiding citizens such as my Daddy. Diggs is only serving time for the death of my Daddy and one other victim. Although a gang was involved only one other man is serving time for the crime of killing my Daddy. I plead with you to help. I do not know who else to turn to except my friends and family members. 400 letters are needed to keep this criminal off our streets.(excerpt from personal message)
Thank you so much for your assistance, The family of Floyd I. Bunton

You've provided some valuable info. Thanks so much!! I'm going to be sure and send it along right now!!
How/where did you find this info? Tarrant county public records?
I couldn't look up anything at the TDCJ site and I'm pretty good at coming up with stuff, but didn't think about public records.
Thank you for the ping to Texas list!! We really need to move quickly on this info.
My friend doesn't go online a lot and wasn't really sure how to spread this help request.
Thanks very much!!
The 10/15 date limits what these groups can do. Both CAH and POMC have news letters. POMC is 3 times a year but they do petition mail outs. CAH has a monthly newsletter with several parole hearings listed.
They help all who come to them regardless of where they are located.
IF this is the first parole hearing it is more likely to be denied. As soon as this one is over your friend needs to begin planning to fight the next one. 3 months is the least lead time to fight them, 6 months is better. You have to track when the next hearing is to be held.
Justice for All being the biggest Texas based support group will be the biggest help. Then CAH.
Bump!!
quick check in -- thanks, Cindy & Meek.
Thanks again for so much info. It's sad that so much effort has to be made by the victims in order to keep the criminals locked up.
I would never have thought about the 3-6 month time frame for raising opposition to parole. That is something else! I'm sure my friend didn't either. It's sad that good people are put through the wringer when they are the one suffering and having to basically relive their horror because the bad guy is up for parole. It has to be the cause of a lot of anxiety.
I was thinking that surely they wouldn't parole him because of the short amount of time served.
Thanks for posting the letter and their response!
BUMP
Thank you for allowing us to be of assistance to quell this injustice.
Thanks. My pleasure. :^)
