You are SO right.
In fact, Cheney looks like he's enjoying this.
It reminds me of the conversations I used to have with an elderly neighbour of mine, a very knowledgeable man, when I started out in journalism school over 15 years ago.
I'd come home and visit him, and full of pompous idealism. I'd talk to him very passionately about topics - and in a measured way, he'd set me straight, without raising his voice.
What he was really saying was ''Little girl, you've a lot to learn'' :-)

It sure is about time! I hope this continues through out the rest of the campaign.
Edwards is a young foolish politician. Cheney is a brilliant, dynamic, experienced man. I wish he could be able to run next election. With Cheney's health and age though, I'm sad that will not come to be.
