Council Dinner
Saturday, October 9, 2004
199 Smith Road * Parsippany, NJ
(Rooms at $89 per night, ph. 973-515-2000)
"America's Precious Heritage"
Steven C. Bonta, PhD, Executive Director of Robert Welch University, will speak on the roots of American civilization. He will discuss the calculated attack to destroy America's Moral Foundation. You will no doubt be intrigued by his insightful perspective and conclusions. Dr. Bonta holds a BA in literature from Penn State University, an MA in linguistics from Brigham Young University, and a PhD from Cornell University in the same subject. He has been a contributor to The New American magazine since 1998, and is the author of the introductory book, Inside the United Nations.
"FTAA: World Government is the Goal"
His long years spent in studying and combating the machinations of our nation's enemies have left John F. McManus uniquely qualified to lead The John Birch Society's fight against the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas. As the Society's director of the effort against this latest attack on our nation, he says: "FTAA's promoters ay it's all about trade. But, if allowed to be created, it will affect jobs, national borders and sovereignty. Even more, it's obvious that this pact has been designed to usher in UN-dominated world government. It must be defeated." Hear Mr. McManus describe how The John Birch Society plans to "Stop the FTAA."

Well, thanks, Coleus, for the post. Commments still show most FReepers are stubbornly ignorant and close-minded. Either can't read or won't read, same thing.
And why is the JBS still on message about getting the United States out of the U.N., while most FReepers and Pubbies still won't help? Could be they LIKE THE UNITED NATIONS and are eagerly anticipating the day the U.S. is completely subsumed into the new world order?
Please note: I know not all FReepers are comsymps, but you all are claiming to be at least somewhat conservative, what with being Republican, and all, yet the Birchers regularly get flamed.
Nothing like a big mouth to go with your pitiful ignorance. You "flamers" (you know who you are) ought to put your money, time, and effort where your mouth is or STFU!
Now if you all will excuse me, I see my daily flame bath is drawn.

Could it be that many have...a tenuous grasp on reality?

Didn't the JBS accuse Eisenhower of being a Communist dupe?

Time has proven Joseph McCarthy Right.
Jane, Fonda, Kerry, Dan Rather, Burkett an Van Os,
All card carrying Communist's. Yet people think this funny.
Every time I run a google search on the background people
involved with the left's BS I aways find articles they wrote on Pravda,
CPUSA, Peoples party etc. Go to Www.wintersolder.com an read The
VVAW Fonda, Kerry, etc
F.B.I. files. Especially May to July 1971.
May / July 1971, 264 pages He was followed by the FBI for years and
was cohorting with every communist there was.
It was once said that the greatest trick Satan ever played
on man was getting man to beleave he didn't exist.

In fairness, I
would say the
"GET US OUT!(of the U.N.)" is the one thing they have done throughout the years that makes any sense.
I can't really summon as much anger and disdain towards them as I would have for the real enemy, the communists and leftists and social libertines.
Still, some here on FR, can manage to do that. You'll see it unfurl here on this thread for sure.

The JBS have some elements of their platform which make sense. However they ruined their credibility with outrageous claims about Ike and by not clearly and geuninely refuting anti Semitism.

Thank you for recognizing the value JBS has in the conservative movement and not joining the liberal/globalist attack on JBS in this thread.

"Are the Birchers against free trade?"No, of course not. May I direct your attention to the "Stop the FTAA" website? Please read what this is about. The FTAA is not about "free trade", but it is about CONTROL. If it were only about trade and nothing else, it would still be disadvantageous for the U.S., but if enacted, and enforced as it is written, it would destroy our national sovreignty by melding our government, our laws, and our financial system with those of the Marxist countries in Central and South America. Our borders would effectively be eliminated as a barrier to mass migration and infiltration of terrorists from anywhere on earth. And the FTAA is designed to be but a building block in developing a New World Order under the auspecies of the United Nations. Have a look at what the European Union has devolved into. That will be the European building block, and the other will be the Asian countries.
Our Congress will be voting on the FTAA sometime early next year. You can either get involved in stopping it, or simply sit back and do nothing if you want to watch it all happen.
I, myself intend to fight it every inch of the way, so that when I am old I can look my grandchildren in the eye and tell them I fought against it.
