The evidence is pouring in from all over the world: Men are going the way of the handwritten letter or the landline phone -- nice things to have perhaps, but in today's world, not essential.
In Finland, for instance, a fellow named Petteri Ikonen has a thriving business as a rent-a-husband. Reuters reports that he charges about $25 an hour for his services.
No, not those kind of services. He performs the kind of tasks women apparently really need from men -- putting in lightbulbs, hanging pictures, changing tires, that sort of thing.
And, as an added service, he never leaves wet towels on the bathroom floor.

And, as an added service, he never leaves wet towels on the bathroom floor. But he does leave the seat up and his aim is not that great.

Sheesh, Willie. That's what you call a handyman. Had one for years, but he didn't charge $25 an hour.

Yeah, but can he fart on a wooden kitchen chair so loud you can hear it outside?
To: Willie Green
I believe RENT A HUSBAND, a handyman service, has been around for years. What a non-story.

*whistle* Sounds like the rabid anti-male "feminists" have a foothold in Finland.
Not gonna sweat it. Women in the U.S. have seen through the anti-male "feminism" here and are all-too aware that the hate-laced socialism of the Left ain't where it's at.

Saw a panel van the other day with "Call Linda's Husband" and pictures of hammers and such on the side. Ostensibly a handy man . . .

Well if all men were liberals in the mold of say a John Kerry, maybe the women of Finland have a point.

Finnish men are safe enough - they have spiders in Finland too, and somebody's gotta kill 'em.

Sheesh, Willie. That's what you call a handyman. Had one for years, but he didn't charge $25 an hourWords of wisdom: Despite decades of liberation, womenfolk really don't want men messin' around in their kitchens lest we figure out how easy all those modern appliances have made the cooking chores. By the same token, NEVER hire another man to change a lightbulb or tire. Pretty soon, he just may be "cutting your grass" as well.

Looks like feminazism is spreading ..lack of family..population decrease in Japan and Austraila I don't think it's feminazism, since the men are agreeing not to have kids either.
