This is not a pen. It is clearly something square, and thin, like a note card.

Look, I'm sure they weren't HIS notes. Probably belonged to his family.

You're right. That ain't a pen. Wonder what that sleaze will do for the next two debates? Put crib notes on his French cuffs?

Certainly looks like the 3x5 note cards I use when making public presentations.
Think this story will get legs in any nationwide televised or print media? What you've got here is intriguing, but it's pretty thin.

I think it's too early to say he cheated, (brought notes to help him on the debate), but I think it is very fair to say he broke the rules.

I would not be surprised if he had a questionaire from Laher. He gave Kerry the knowing wink after the debate was over.

Maybe Kerry had a Groupie in the audience?
If I were married to Tehrayzah I'd want to see the name and number right away too!
I think this is much ado about nothing.
President Bush was not prepared, and if he was, then it's sad. The comedic caricatures are getting painful to watch.
IOW, we got our butts handed to us, stylely speaking. Television can be cruel. Ask Richard Nixon.
To: Jeff Head
Fox News just showed Kerry slipping the cards out of his jacket and into the podium. It was clear as day at normal speed with no enlargement or enhancement.
Fox isn't saying anything (yet), but they are showing the act with no comment. I love it.
Remember the press talking about how Kerry was always looking down during the debate? Now we know why.

BTW EXCELLENT SCORE MATT...you simply leave Rather and their ilk in the dust. So much for their investigative reporting.

Believe me, I would be the first to say that Kerry has been cheating his entire life but I would imagine that, without an admission from Kerry, it will probably be called a 'blank note card' used to scribble down notes vice a cheatsheet. If the candidates were prohibited from having anything then forget what I just wrote.

ALL : At the begining of the debate, when they shook hands, it seems to me that Kerry would not let go of GWB's hand to irritate him. Are there pictures of that too? If there is someone please post them and spread the word..

I was convinced later during the debate that he rotated note cards during a response.
I spent all day Friday trying to find the clip. I saw it on FOX news during the debate, but it did not show up on the CSPAN angles.
