ALL : At the begining of the debate, when they shook hands, it seems to me that Kerry would not let go of GWB's hand to irritate him. Are there pictures of that too? If there is someone please post them and spread the word..

Kerry was holding on to emphasize the height difference as long as possible. Notice how he smiles at Jim the whole time he is doing it. Bush has to literally yank his hand away with a tug. Bush's people told him to minimize the time standing close to Kerry. Also if the debate was down to podium size, how far away, lights, ad nauseum then you know that if Bush could have bought notes he would have. Kerry practised this sleight of hand for days in Wisconsin. Has his nails done and a fake tan so we were all checking for the tan more than what he was doing.
Mike Savage opined that it was Kerry's intent to dominate and intimidate GWB during the handshake. Savage compared it to a Sumo wrestling match. He also drew Bush toward him as he grabbed his hand.
Also, I noticed at the beginning, Kerry really got up close to GW/s face, violating GW's personal space. This is something that really annoys me when it happens to me. Its intimidating. But I have noticed, Kerry does it with John Edwards and many people he greets and it appears he is about to kiss them. Weird...
Precisely, It was part of his "act" treating Bush like his son, or a little boy. He took a dominant and commanding control of every aspect. I hope people can see through his self aggrandisement.
