Here are the specific frames from the debate video shoqing most clearly what Kerry had in his hand as he took it out of his pocket and placed it on the podium.

I have taken two of the frames, lightened them, zoomed in, and sharpened the pics. No other enhancements have been made:

Anyone, even a skilled debater, will pause for a short period of time after the question is asked to get their thoughts together.

A skilled debater wouldn't need to use prepared notes of answers.

Not true. I'd be talking about this if everyone agreed that Bush won the debate hands down and Kerry was thinking about conceding the election.

Cheating matters no matter if the cheater is a winner or a loser. It just adds insult to injury if the cheater won through his cheating.

The President needs to remember that this is a street brawl. No such thing as a "fair" fight!

ESPECIALLY in light of the fact that the President's debate "negotating team" led by none other than, practically life-long family friend--James Baker--AGREED to Jim (the totally leftist-leaning/Bush-hating) Lehrer to moderate this debate...a major risk on the part of the "Bushies", but one they were obviously willing to take...they should have at least EXPECTED what they got from the likes of sKerry-n-Lehrer...hopefully, they'll be better PREPARED for the subsequent debates.

A broadcaster with original video needs to scrutinize the frames in question. I have to think somebody must be, but the lack of any stories, even from Fox, has me wondering just what is going on. If it's just a kleenex or something why hasn't anyone stepped forward with that info?

The press wasn't "suckered" any more than Dan Rather was suckered. The press is against us. Unfortunately, Bush gave them something to seize on.

By your logic, Bush shouldn't have agreed to ANY debates, since merely debating would give "them something to seize on".

But NOT debating would give "them something to seize on".
