Here are the specific frames from the debate video shoqing most clearly what Kerry had in his hand as he took it out of his pocket and placed it on the podium.
I have taken two of the frames, lightened them, zoomed in, and sharpened the pics. No other enhancements have been made:
Too funny!:<)
Did he nod like that all through the debate?
It would be interesting to find out who set the rules about nothing brought in. That would assure that Bush would be clueless about the questions while Kerry would be informed, making him look on top of the issues while Bush looked slow cause he had to take time to let the question sink in.
Excellent point! He could not bring "his" own notes but nothing was said about bring others notes. After all "His" has "is" in it and who the heck knows what is is anyway?
Ya think he used the CLIPBOARD to clamp the "notes" to and also to camoflage them? He wasn't really writing anything but was looking at HIS NEXT LIE UP AT BAT.
"seemed unable to present his thoughts well. "
You know I have the same problem when I'm standing next to some moron who should be able to see the obvious. I agree with you, Bush beat Kerry, but then I was looking for more honesty and the msm prefers a block of stone that can bellow half truths.
Durring the first half mostly. Big show off.
Please take me off your ping list.
He wouldn't have had to hide them or put them back in his jacket after the debate if he requested note cards to write on instead of paper.
BTW - I know these rules were agreed to by both campaigns, but what are the consequences for breaking them? Lawsuits?
Once a lying cheat; always a lying cheat.
And memo to Dick Cheney -- DO NOT MAKE LIGHT OF THIS DURING YOUR DEBATE. It will trivialize the accusation.
They'll probably do the same thing they did to ole paper in the pants Berger. Nothing.
And the President usually turns in at 9:30 pm. It was past his bedtime when Kerry started LYING AND HURLING FALSE ACCUSATIONS and his big solution to the war on terror was "let's have a summit." Big whoop.
Can't quite make out what's on the cards but it looks forged.
The rules were agreed to by both sides. James Baker for GWB and Vernon Jordan for Kerry. It was no surprise.
I just saw "the act" on Fox a moment ago and it didn't look like a piece of paper to me. It looked like a stack of 3x5 cards.
Very nice site.
This might explain why he was stalling for time. Coming out late to the stage, holding Bush's hand a little longer and taking a few more steps/minutes to get in place.
WoW he's worse than a mangy dog. jmho
Thanks for the ping, Misty!
Glad to see so many threads on this today. I wasn't sure what I was seeing while watching the debate the other night and am glad to have it clarified. Between video clips and enlargements of stills I've seen on FR, it's pretty obvious it wasn't a pen he whipped out of his pocket.
I've sent a couple of e-mails now, en masse, to get the word out about this cheatin' jerk.
And now that the word is out, I hope they search sKerry CLOSELY before walking on stage for the next debate. Let's see how smoothly he runs without his cheat sheet.
Absolutely NOT a pen. It sure looks like a square " deck" of cards to me!!....unless Teraszzzza folds his hankie in a 3x5 square when she " irons" them!!!!
